Slow is useful against large groups of heavy hitters, as it will significantly reduce the number of hits you take per round.
The second level of Daze adds the ensnare effect, which extends its usefulness, even against creatures that are immune to the daze effect.

As for Avadon, you get direct control of your pets, so it's not an issue. You will have to pay attention to where you stand when you place turrets, but there's a predictable system for that.

I think you're confusing the combat mode button with the attack button. If this is A4, the combat mode button is on the upper right side of the screen and looks like a fat lightning bolt (it changes to a peace sign when you're actually in combat mode). The attack button is on the bottom of the screen, between the "get" button and your first spell slot.
So to attack a non-hostile creature, you must first enter combat mode (via the fat lightning bolt button, or pressing 'f'), then press the 'attack' button (on the bottom row), then click on the creature.

You need to press the attack button. Still in A4, right? It's one of the buttons at the bottom of the screen, looks like a dagger, sort of.

No no, you want to be able to bury them in the sand and then just leave.

Is the heterosexual marriage age gap really that mysterious? Or does no one want to mention the obvious biological basis for it.
I know it's gauche to suggest that human behaviour is in any way influenced by our evolutionary history, but I think it's fair to say that a woman is less likely to be put off by a few grey hairs on a man's head than vice versa.

The same edits will work in Avadon 2, it's just a matter of locating the scripts in the Steam version.

Also, the ghost won't appear even on the third visit unless your party is around level 15 or higher. This is so you don't get slaughtered.
If there's a bed or table or whatnot in anywhere in the house, that's what you bought. On my first playthrough, I totally missed the fact that there were two rooms in the southern part of the house.

That's very public-spirited of you. You may not be aware that this information, along with a great deal more, can be found in the Strategy Central topic, which is pinned near the top of the forum.
Thanks though!

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind, but another Spiderwebber has offered to help me with the coding.

when i was a really little kid, like 4 years old, i had the most ridiculously overcomplicated way of telling left from right ever
i had picked up somewhere that on a ship, starboard was right and port was left. and i had a little port-wine-stain birthmark on my left hand. so the side with the port-wine mark was the port side, which was the left side. and that's how i knew which way was left
Lucky birthmark. It saved you from having to tattoo a star and a board on your right hand.

(I've never done a post with a possible spoiler in it before, please let me know if I should have hidden anything, or if this actually isn't a spoiler at all)
You needn't bother with spoiler tags in the post when you've included "spoiler" in the topic title, but since the title itself included an actual spoiler, I altered it slightly.

The designer got a lot of feedback about those switches; they're much easier to find in subsequent games.

Well, a kick in the pants might be useful.
Other than that, if you have access to Photoshop you could help clean up the screenshots, or if you know anything about building websites you could make me a page template. One of the changes I want to implement is a pop-up legend, which I don't know how to do yet, though I can find out. I taught myself to use HTML from a couple of free online tutorials, but as this was a couple of years ago now and I haven't used it much since, I'm probably going to have to go back for a refresher anyway. Unless someone wants to do that bit for me.

There's one on the populated level of Bahssikava, behind a secret door, near the centre of the map I think. There's a slith nearby. I can't be more specific than that atm, as I'm not at home.

By that measure, bullets are also pretty easy to not have.
I was going to post much the same reply. But then I remembered that I'd be replying to a skribbane addict with a sniper rifle and I thought better of it.

A higher-tier turret will always be more powerful than a lower one*, no matter how many points you pour into it. The reason being that those extra points don't make any difference. That's right, the tooltips lie. Surprise.
The Tinkermage's right-hand column is only good for unlocking turrets, not improving them. If you want to actually raise their level (and you do), raise Turret Craft. And don't waste skill points raising turret skills one point higher than you need to unlock them.
*Bear in mind that with a Snare Turret, damage is only part of the effect.
