So I killed old gladwell- but the geas remains is there something else i'm supposed to do also i smashed the crystal in the room with him

so i am on the way to kill gladwell- i go to Barren lands through tunnel- enter keep- kill undead around the coffin- but there is a gate that seems to be the way in to gladwell's and it is closed- how do i get it open- or how do i get into gladwells
