That's because its lame. Cheats are fun, just learn some self control

That would have been a much simpler way of saying how I say it...

I always pronounced the "ay" as a hard "A". That is, drayk sounds like the word rake with a d in the front.

Trainers[G5]
A less presumptuous name. replied to Punctuation rains from the heavens's topic in Geneforge Series
Money tends to be limiting in the first few chapters. You build up a nice buffer, and then once you find a new trainer, its gone before you know it. As for exp, the hard coded level limit is either 60 or 61. While I have never gone this high, I think people have gotten pretty darn close. Don't worry though, it's not hard to beat the game at level 50 or lower, depending on the difficulty. Exp does not become an issue unless you play as a pacifist. -
There is also one which gives +1 intelligence and +1 intelligence. The two above give intelligence and energy preservation, I think.

Sadly, I already have that on. I can never remember where the +2 belt is. I always forget to mark down when I find it. Perhaps I need a Girdle of Memory...

Velzan's Archive - Alive Oncemore.[G5]

I run mac, so it's all right there in my apps folder. Find the folder which contains the application itself. That is where you will find what you seek. -
Pressing "Shift+d" opens the cheat window. From there, you can type in a cheat code or SDF (?).

Find the folder with the files. It should be in the geneforge 5 folder. Find the data folder or whatever, and open up scripts. Just like the old games. (I can't verify this since I'm on my old hard drive which doesn't have the games on it, but I'm pretty sure it's exactly the same as it's always been.) -
Unless you're like me. I always manage to forget to make my creations in the town with all of my gear, so my creations are always a few levels lower than what they could be. Meh

My dad bought a "Ten for X Games" for our new G4 iMac a while ago. Geneforge one was on it. After a long time, I discovered the extent of the wonderful world of Geneforge!

Trainers[G5]

It really bugs me, that I can only train two levels. Being a hardcore shaper, I never use canisters. Thankfully, GF5 has a number of opportunities to get a third point. Thank you Rawal, you're not completely useless. -

If you feel up to pit yourself, I recommend looking through the original editors. Criokles (sp) editor has a part where almost all of the items in the game can be vended from a sign post. I could probably do this, but my main hard drive died, taking with it my laptop copies of the games. -
My impression was that they are like wormy, lighting breathing vlish. That is to say, they use magic to aid the flapping of their leathery wings. I doubt that they can achieve high altitudes.

It seems as if you went after the presence servile without using the geneforge? I didn't even think this was possible. Did you find a way to do that or is the screenshot just a tad misleading? -
So long as I've cleared an area and gotten to the surrounding areas already, exitzone seems fine. I've never had problems with it (at least not ones that can't be fixed by reverting to the quicksave I do right before using it). Also, healmenow and rechargeme are useful, but only get used when I am near the exit of the zone or have a clear exit. Cheats for me are just time savers.

Go to the geneforge forum (this one) and look at the top under Geneforge2 resources. Also, someone just published another moments ago, I can't remember if that has coins in it though.

Moi aussi. I seem to remember this being an issue with external links to editors as well. -
Geneforge...a memory[G5]

Jeff has specifically stated that there will be no more games in the geneforge world. He either is or soon will be working on a new engine and a new storyline/universe. -
Yes, but there is no longer a limit on how much money a shop can have. Personally, I find this, as well as the new encumbrance system, good changes that make the game much more enjoyable.

The big thing is to budget yourself. Don't buy things just because they're there. Only buy a spell if it really seems useful and even then one level should suffice. Along with that, there is no reason to buy a creation that you will never use. Keeping such things in mind, it is easy enough to budget oneself and reduce the coin shortage issue to a minor inconvenience.

Last time I played, I ran and got 2 or 3 bugs. I then added 2 platted bugs once I got them. As some point, I got rid of a few bugs (2, I think) for some alphas. Had I continued, I would have probably scrapped the alphas and maybe bugs for some betas or roters. I would have ended with a couple of tralls. I was planning on adding some wingbolts at some point, but never built up essence and skill before I stopped playing that save.

Yet, in my experience, those levels make them better enough to make a difference, even taking into account the time delay between getting alphas and betas.
