  1. I can relate to this problem, I got into several top 100 liberal art schools, and it came down to two schools. Both would cost about $50,000 without financial aid. However, one was out of state and offered a chance to go somewhere else, have fun, and experience new things. The other was in state; I would have had a good time, maybe missed out on some adventures I could have had at the other school, but I could have graduated with no debt. I chose the out of state school, and to this day I still wonder if it was the right decision.

  2. Let's see if I can remember the schedule I chose at the end of last year...

    Introduction to psychology

    Application Design

    Introductory Chinese

    Racial Inequality

    Introduction to Classical Physics I

    Computer Science II

    Computer Organization

  3. I would also like to add cryptobiotic soil to the list of things that the southwest needs to survive. It helps percent erosion, hold moisture, and allow plants to grow. Grazing, offroading, etc. destroy it, and it takes several decades to form a thin layer, and about 100 years to form a healthy layer.

  4. I was under the impression that the 3D graphing on the 89's was rather useless because of the small screen and wireframe styling.

So this happened with TI's calculators? Citation please.

  5. Well there's also the Ti-83 Silver Edition which has more power, and comes with a few extra things installed, and now the TI-84 (which also has a plus and silver edition), which is a more powerful and redesigned TI-83, which, as far as I know, only has one or two pre-installed apps to take advantage of the extra power and is otherwise identical to the TI-83.

I would, however, argue that TI is catching p with the times, because of the TI nSpire.

  6. There was one in Colorado as well. Don't know much about it as I'm not there right now, but I heard that it happened.

Does anyone think this could be related to the poles switching/2012/doomsday? Or is it likely that one earthquake triggered another?

  7. My biggest problem was this game was supposed to be 30ish years after and...

    Click to reveal..
there's a whole new species, the apollo lens, and alchemy forge just appeared in canon; where were they thirty years ago? There's no way they would appear in that short of time, and how did the original party not notice them 30 years ago?
Also the 3D graphics make the main character look like he's a chubby 10 year old, not 18 or 19.

Overall it brought back some fond memories, but, like nioca, I found it weaker than the originals. Particularly since I blew through it in a day or two.

  8. I don't have any distinct memories of being bullied, just thinking that a few people were donkeys for not following the rules, particularly during gym class. This is probably lucky since I tend to be quite conscientious and probably would have taken bullying very hard. I just feel fortunate not to be a girl since pre-teen and teenage girls can be very mean to each other.
