  1. The warrior/guardian suits my playing style best.
  2. I did this too. It made getting further into the fort easier. I think it took me a few tries, but I found the Rotdizons further in harder than Bennhold himself.
  3. Do you want the sword to attack like a regular sword and have the temporal field ability or just attack with temporal field?
  4. I was just mentioning it because I found it humorous way back when I first read it.
  5. It also says clothing only necessary to avoid terrifying outsiders.
  6. Does the extra base 8 or so hitpoints/spellpoints that exist in the beginning get increased as they level up? If not then the differences in the classes (excluding guardian/warrior) is negligible, and more of a personal preference.
  7. Hm. That is indeed what he did. I didn't notice that Jeff left some blank slots in the items.
  8. It may be possible, but I don't think that shapers have developed technology to work with anything smaller than DNA. Or if they do it has not be very explored yet. The subatomic technology has promise though, alloys stronger than puresteel!
  9. Maybe you already got it? The puresteel rings are special items that you get from a dialogue from opening the chest. If the chest says that it is empty you may have already taken the puresteel from the area.
  10. If you managed to get the shaped blade before you got through Mera, without using cheats or scripts, I would like to ask, how?
  11. Um, maybe, but there is also something in the scripts that can be changed to change what color characters or items are. This is probably what he was referring to.
  12. It is not possible to shape podlings without altering the game.
  13. You'll have to browse in those folders to find the different graphics you want to replace. It will take a while, but it can be done.
  14. I'm just pointing out that the Shapers tried, and the Drakons are... more lenient.
  15. Fine, Shaper versus, Drakons. There is no human/servile rebellion. It is now a battle between who will be THE power on the continent. Lets compare. Drakons are haughty to everyone and everything, especially the new drakons. There are some exceptions, mostly the older drakons though. Shapers can be modest or haughty. Almost all believe they are above outsiders and be expected to be treated differently, most do not act haughty, more of I have power and we both know it. Shapers have tried to eliminate all intelligent life to protect themselves and innocents from rebellion like the current one. Drakons are intelligent life and once claimed the right to live, but now it seems more like they want a kingdom of their own. Notice how they treat others (humans, serviles, drayks) in drakon dominant habitations. The drakons would most likely act similarly to shapers if they became the dominant power; they woulddestroy things that threaten their power i.g. intelligent beings. Shapers have kept close tabs on shaping so that the power does not fall into the hands of maniacs like Monarch, or others who would seek power. This prevents the creation of intelligent life that could threaten shapers and innocents, and also disasters like monarch or a less refined Purity Agent. Drakons are for the ability to shape being more widely available (for now) which means a MUCH higher chance of disasters occurring. Human greed is often underestimated with disasterous consequences. And what about if the drakons came into power? They would need to apply limits on who could have shaping unless they wanted to deal with disasters and civilians rebelling against them.
  16. Not all serviles are that intelligent and/or want independence or freedom. Most are happy the way they are. Count how many of serviles are happy or, at least, don't complain in Shaper lands/cities. It actually seems like some of the rebels are forcing freedom and independence on serviles that don't want to be freed. How is forcing someone to be independent worse than letting them continue to be happy.
  17. I really want to question what you believe. Do you believe that if the drakons won they would instigate a rule any less cruel than the shapers? They already look down on basically everything and everyone as below them, not something that is desirable in a government. And if the drakons won and instigated that type of government, do you really think the human/servile rebels would be strong enough to overthrow the drakons and create their own government?
  18. Actually, from what I've experienced in the mac version, the GF5 graphics are in folders in GF5 Files. There should be three folders (Graphics A, Graphics B, and Graphics Core) with all the graphics. I think this is where all the templates are, but you may need to mess with the scripts too.
  19. Charms do exist. The list is in the Strategy Central, Dahak's Item List, near the bottom of the page.
  20. It doesn't add a set bonus, that's why you get different amounts based on what you have on. I don't know the numbers exactly, but someone does.
  21. The Oozing Blade is a very useful sword. And the Girdle of Intelligence is a good belt for anyone with creations in tow and useful for spellcasters. The Girdle of Strength, and Girdle of Endurance can be helpful for some situations.
