Or, the people that join your party could also be working for Red Beard, and after certain points are reached they leave your party to do other missions, and you are therefore nudged towards taking someone else into your party. Or Red Beard could just force you to take someone into your party.

Playing a musical instrument can cause that. Sitting in front of the brass section and behind the piccolos is the best way to achieve it. Better yet play the piccolo while sitting in front of the brass section. From what individuals who have this problem say, they have a hard time hearing things such as conversation when there's a lot of background noise, but they are much better at hearing differences in tones.

Maybe scarabs have different effects depending on your class. Maybe for the summoner scarabs mean you can summon more creatures, for the mage it gives access to different spells, and for the warrior it adds effects to your attacks.

Of the factions leaders, I was strongly attracted to Alwan because of his determination and because I tend to lean shaper. Taygen was too cruel. Astoria seemed too relaxed. I also really liked Litalia because of her history and perspective, as well as I am a true trakovite at heart, but I'm not sure I agree with her methods completely. Greta would have been nice to have as an option, because she is realistic about what should come from the rebellion, but what she wants is different enough from what Ghaldring wants that she would have to be another faction. Honestly I thought Jeff butchered the encounter with Ghaldring. He just seemed to haughty, like he didn't care about you. He was no longer the charismatic and strong leader that he had been in the past. There was also not enough build up to the first time you meet Ghaldring; I felt no suspense before I met him. I think it would have been better if you worked with one of Ghaldring's liutenents and didn't get to see him until you told the luitenent you were ready to swear loyalty, then actually swore loyalty to Ghaldring and worked with him afterwards.

I was wondering what was so special about a picture and why people were saying the noise hurt their ears/head, but then I turned my speakers on.

Oh, I thought of another encounter that I liked. The damaged mind in the Trial Halls. "Death means entry into sect. Victory means honored burial.... No, is backward."

I also enjoyed the non-hostile rats. I took a screenshot to remember our encounter. One encounter that sticks out in my mind was the drakon that is encountered after the non-hostile rats. It was interesting to converse with a non-snooty drakon.

Be aware that A1-3 run on a very different engine than Geneforge, some people cannot adapt to the change. However, A4-6 run on a similar engine to Geneforge, so you shouldn't have any problems adapting to that.

It reminds me of a grey treefrog, but that's probably because it's a treefrog of somesort. Edit: Wiki Here. You can kinda see the orange on the underside of the legs that the article mentions in Nioca's second picure. The pattern on the frog's back is also like other gray treefrogs I've seen.

I think you can avoid the fight if you have high enough leadership and say the right thing, because I don't remember fighting Mehken and I played through as a Shaper.

Still doesn't have to do with dracula though. How about a more obvious shot in the dark: 8. Dracula (with some variations such as Count Dracula, Dracula: Scary Story, etc.)
