  1. Yea where is a link to this trainer, while being "god" is boring sometimes(too easy) being able to go drakon sounds so fun!
  2. I understand what your saying, I mean getting asked was irritating, but in cases were it could be useful to jump off...and you can't... That's irritating, in Geneforge that's okay, cause usually you don't need to in any situation...their just aren't cliffs And yes some of the Avernum graphics are a little fake, some of them did give it a feel and looked awesome, I found the demons, dervishes, and ect looked way cooler.
  3. Okay I've seen many of you consider Avernum 5 to be great, that's fine, here's what I thought after trying it out. In mu opinion, the only thing going for Avernum 5, is the redone combat system, and plotline, other than that, I was hideously disappointed in it for one reason. The fact that the whole game, looks, feels, and is, Geneforge, I am aware Jeff put the Geneforge engine into avernum, but it just made it lose its feel of avernum you know? You couldn't jump off cliffs anymore(was especially disgusted by that one), you couldn't do so many things that were doable in the others! When you walked you looked screwy, I was especially disgusted by all the graphics, I mean come on, the hulking armor-clad dervishes turned into the lame-looking guardian model? Their supposed to look intimidating not... Bleh I'd give it a 5/10 out of the whole series, but I wouldn't bother spending my money on this. The combat system was great, the storyline was good, and the look and atmosphere stunk, this would have been an AMAZING game had it felt and looked like Avernum, not Averforge.
  4. Alright another question How do I convert scenarios to PC? i.e mac-->pc
  5. Ohhhhh Now I know what your talking about Thanks! Dunno if itll work right now, gotta go to school

  7. I have windows XP and I cannot get for anything text to properly display on Blades of Exile There will be...simply nothing there... Can someone help here?
  8. You don't listen very well do you? No it could not have been #%#$%# shaped because Avernum is an entirely different UNIVERSE! There are NO SHAPERS! Stop coming up with stupid ideas on how they could not be connected, Jeff has made neither to be connected, to be entirely different universes, what you keep trying to do is the equivalent of joining like say Warcraft 3 to Warhammer 40k, that doesn't work and is retarded, Can I ask one of the admin to lock this topic? Gah

I want to get it so I can make my fyora level 3 to allow a cryoa creation. I did before but I had to kill them then. If I just sneek in, avoid dying from them and escape will that be enough? Similar to what I can do at one of the 2 bridges. Can I come back without the 2 quests be "disrupted," i.e. not allowable for some reasons? Second, I went to Arth to tell Coale about him but for some reason he just says the the passage is blocked and trading with them would upset the Kazg leader. It worked last time but not this time. This game I hadn't completed Tribal Woods, Quite Marshes, Southbridge, and Northbridge, and. I know that isn't it because, as a test game, I did finish those levels but it still failed. What did I do differently? Number 1: No you cant, you either have to kill them or not, there is no way to sneak in. Number 2: Nothing, that happens every time

Didnt you listen to anything I said? I said that because Jeff Vogel doesnt try to create a connection between the two it doesnt exist. Whether or not Avernum came out in 2003 or Geneforge came out in 2002 does not matter, those are when the game was finished and released, it has nothing to do with "Geneforge came first, Avernum second" they have no connection and thus neither came first or second. In Geneforge the history is simple, the secret explains where the Shapers came from, the Shapers had ruled for at least a milinia, intelligent creations and forbidden secrets get loose. From their war insues, that is the history of Geneforge, their are no freakin vahnatai sliths and nephils. Get this idea of "Avernum is future of Geneforge" out of your head, there IS NO connection stop trying to make one up. Gah >_>

  12. The idea is stupid, they are entirely different universes, there is nothing to suggest that either might have come before the "other" because they are entirely different universes made by Jeff, to try and link them together is retarded, we do not need any fyoras "evolving" into goblins or whatever you said! Terrestria is one continent yes but a BIG one, many of the concepts in Avernum conflict with those in Geneforge, some guy could not just discover "essence" and my goodness Trakovites becoming the empire? Idiocy There are many other continents out in the Geneforge world, but they have not been revealed because they do not pertain to the freakin story and Jeff does not care, why would he worry about making up other continents if the focus was on one? Which shows my second point, you are trying to make up a plot line exploitation to connect Avernum and Geneforge, yet if there was one Jeff would put in both games evidence that if you figured it out would connect the too. He has not in any way tried to connect the two, and thus a connection does not exist. You are also forgetting the big secret of Sucia Island, that disproves any connection as far as I am concerned. Can I ask this topic get locked? It isn't going anywhere.

Thats not what I meant, you missed my point entirely, I was saying that democrats, a political faction have NOTHING to do with the rebel or Shaper faction, I pointed freakin out why. I fail to see how someone could bring some sort of correlation to them. Republicans and Democrats are about Saving Resources/Using them or whatever, Shapers and Rebels are for Destroying Rogues/Gaining Freedom So how do those too relate? They don't
