  1. I have two midterms on Monday so the rescheduling is appreciated.
  2. I think Steve Jobs was also Buddhist. His family held a private funeral today at an undisclosed location.
  3. So the Westboro Baptist Church announced that it's going to protest Jobs' funeral--an announcement they made on Twitter via iPhone. Epic hypocrisy.
  4. Reaching over to the left shift key is awkward so I only use the right shift key.
  5. Believe it or not that actually startled me. I kind of wonder if I'm the only one who exclusively uses the left shift key. I don't think I even touch the right shift key.

  7. I find it ironic that a famous CEO dies in the wake of the Occupy Wall Street protests. Because of this I noticed a new Facebook feature: when a bunch of people post about the same thing it groups all of the statuses together.

  9. I still have an old PowerMac that has an amazing 90 mHz processor, along with a bunch of old RAM.
  10. I don't even know how you can say you're for limited government and advocate massive defense spending at the same time. Doublethink!
  11. I don't think I've ever seen a picture of a camel-drawn buggy inspecting a rabbit fence before. (But seriously, that's awesome)
  12. Australia once imported biological controls to keep down beetles and it's had terrible results. And yet I still said that despite knowing you were joking.
  13. Dang it! I already got it into my head that Mario is Joe Pesci!
  14. I have a feeling that wouldn't work too well. Nathalie would end up a whole lot less useful. You could pump her dexterity, but it wouldn't be as fun.
  15. I have Windows 7 installed in a partition on my Macbook Pro. The thing is, the only programs I can't get to work on my Mac without struggle are some games, so meh. Like Slarty said, compatibility isn't that big of a deal anymore.
  16. I really like grape hyacinths. I'm assuming that's what you're sitting among but I can't tell.

  18. I'm afraid I haven't heard of them. That's the thing: there's so much good music in the world that you can't even come close to having all of it.
  19. I like a lot of classical music, but only threw in album-length pieces. I did not include any greatest-hits albums. If I was to order them I'd order them like this: The Beatles - Revolver (1966) Radiohead - OK Computer (1997) Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon (1973) The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1967) Radiohead - In Rainbows (2007) Rachmaninoff - Piano Concerto No. 3 in D Minor, Op. 30 (1909) Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin IV (1971) Mozart - Requiem in D Minor, K. 626 (1791) Simon and Garfunkel - Bridge Over Troubled Water (1970) The Beatles - Rubber Soul (1965) Radiohead - The Bends (1995) The Doors - The Doors (1967) Bob Dylan - The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan (1963) The Who - Who's Next (1971) The Beatles - Abbey Road (1969) Nirvana - Nevermind (1991) Badfinger - No Dice (1970) Fleetwood Mac - Rumors (1977) Gustav Holst - The Planets (1916) Alanis Morissette - Jagged Little Pill (1995) The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds (1966)
  20. I almost always play on Normal. I've tried Torment before but I'm not a big fan of reloading.
  21. Ooooh, having a stable internet at college makes this tempting. I've been to Lund. There's little there besides an extremely nice K-12 school (all carpet, which I slept on). Interesting destination in a zombie apocalypse.
  22. Yeah, in other words don't kill your maid! But being a pigeon can't be all to bad if you can dual-wield.

  24. Yeah, I really miss Rosetta. I find that Windows XP is still easier to use than Windows 7, and I think 2000 was better than both.
