Ah, the powers of the English Slanguage.Quote:Originally written by Dikiyoba:Congratulations, Nioca. You've been corrupted now.Quote:Originally written by Nioca:

At any rate, I wouldn't have made that connection, if I hadn't heard the song 'My Generation' recently.
EDIT: Modified for context. -
I know TM brought it up in his rating for DoK at the Lyceum. In fact, that's how I found out about it.
-
While I may not be Ephesos, I do know that at one point, the dragon's name was Klortis.

I did. And no, this was not an accident.Quote:Originally written by Emperor Tullegolar:

I really wish you could meet Sydney, my fuzzy purring bundle of joy. She is as loyal as a Labrador Retriever.Quote:Originally written by Delicious Vlish:

Actually, I'm better at magical mind-control then any other creature. You, my squidy friend, would simply get assimilated into my already massive army of mind-controlled creations. Or I could just call my faithful little clawbug.Quote:Originally written by Delicious Vlish:
Your insolence and your plans for your puny traps have been noted. There will be a spot at the wall reserved for you.
P.S.: Little is merely a term of affection. This clawbug managed to single-handedly put many a Drakon down. -
That's not necessary for a BoA scenario, let alone a BoE scenario.
-
Assuming they don't invent traps that revolve around Beano. Like if a vlish hovers past a rune, said rune will spray powdered Beano on the vlish.
Mind you, it wouldn't kill the vlish. It would just lose it's mobility and it's scent.
-
Oh great. Vlish were dangerous enough. But Jeff gave them yet another weapon in GF4?
Well at least there is now an effective way to counter them.
"Argh, a Vlish! Quick, get some Beano!"
-
Well that is not my job, nor my responsibility, nor my desicion. That's up to the moderators and the administrators.

So it is somewhat on topic. Just not by much.Quote:Originally written by Phish Phlot:

As a Guardian in GF1, I always felt ahead. I made it to the great temple before I got to Pentil. -
Fyora Wings! They're hot 'n' spicy, with no artificial flavoring!
-
Some of the warriors are loons too. Those Crystal Souls are like skribbane: They're dangerous, yet their power is almost too much to resist. Kabraxaz was an example of this.Quote:Originally written by YATT:
Most of them seem perfectly sane in A2, and you don't really get to talk to many in A3. The crazy ones are a lot of the mages and Crystal Souls. Mages of all types seem to go nuts with great frequency and most of the Crystal Souls that you encounter are not at their best. -
There's one in GF1, in that shaper graveyard.
-
In my opinion, the vahnatai race in general is crazy. It isn't just limited to Rentar-Ihrno, or any other crystal soul for that matter.
-
Tell me when that is about to happen, so I can place myself behind something nice and sturdy.Quote:Originally written by Ephesos:As Alorael said, sometimes you get these TM-like comments into your head. EDIT: A modern rendition of what chainmail used to be like is not the same as a real suit of old-fashioned chainmail. It could stand up to swords fairly well. But if someone came at you with a spear, bow, or crossbow, you wouldn't last long.
-
Wow. That will make my clawbugs even deadlier.
Another implication of this is that the effects of stunning and slowing are both severely negated. The point of those statuses used to be that you couldn't fight back. Now that you can defend yourself while stunned or slowed, said statuses are no longer as dangerous as they once were.
-
The first one was probably a mistake. Either Jeff forgot his written description, or he just put the wrong picture on him.
An 'elder', according to history, can actually be young. They just have to be experienced and wise.
EDIT: His age when he was tossed down to Avernum... My guess is -22 years old.
-
Turning AI on can also be helpful when it comes to flushing out hidden enemies. Like the clawbugs that are hidden behind that particularly large tree. You can't see them, but your independent fyora can!
-
Why can't it be because it was expensive, heavy, AND ineffective?
-
Maybe the clawbugs will actually do poison damage too... One can only hope.
-
You forgot the best one: Eyebeast Sushi.

The results of this poll:
In first, with 34% of the vote: STALKER
In second, with 27% of the vote: VAHKOHS
In third, with 22% of the vote: THE IMMORTAL
I plan on holding this poll next year too. Of course, everyone who got less then 5% of the vote won't be included, just to sort of narrow it down.
