  1. Actually, it is possible to get into the courtyard. You have to exploit the enter-combat-exit-combat bug. The catch is that once I get out, I can't get back in.
  2. In A3, I just used that abandoned farmhouse somewhere near Sharimik. I cleaned out the bones and trash from the stables so I could keep my horses there, and basically made myself at home.
  3. You go to the character editor, select advanced, choose give an item, and type in 2. It gives you some silver coins. Lay them at the guards' feet, and they'll give you access to the courtyard. It's a bummer when the other guards start shooting at you, though.
  4. You have eight Demonslayers? *narrows eyes skeptically* Either you have the character editor, or have encountered some sort of unusual bug.
  5. How much did you have to bribe them? I only paid 10 coins.
  6. It's fun to wander in the courtyard of Blackcrag, though.
  7. it_level affects the power of the item in question. it_ability is the special ability of the item, listed in a different text file. Import takes another item's characteristics as it's template. Clear clears all basic values to normal. if neither are used, values set in the previous item will be carried over to the current item. EDIT: That's what happens when I go to get some soda before answering a question. I chime in 7 minutes late.
  8. I'd suggest downloading the regular editor. It comes with a manual that, despite what everyone says, is an excellent place to start. Read it bits at a time, and when you want to do something specific, look it up in the manual. It'll enlighten you on scripts and editing. You don't have to use the regular editor, just download it to get the manual.

Besides, most people here are rather tolerant of mistakes (Thank god) and perfect spelling and grammar (by the way, Doomer, neither are capitalized.) are not necessary. Just decent, understandable posts.
  10. Unless I misinterpreted the previous GF4 chatter, the 3 creation type limit is gone.
  11. Not that I'm aware of, but I still keep all of my currently unneeded items in a container. In fact, I keep all of my unneeded items in the jar you mentioned. I'm still trying to figure out how a small jar can hold 8 bars of metal, 10 fine leather, and over 60 gemstones.
  12. I'm pretty sure if it was used excessively, it would be in violation of the CoC. However, if the CoC was followed to the letter, far more members would be holding the title BANNED.
  13. Quote: Originally written by Garrison: That's a cynical jump. But not unlikely. The connection between oil and the war on terror is disturbingly close.
  14. But if you invaded now, you wouldn't be able to get that oil.
  15. Are you toying with us again, or are you being serious?
  16. I imagined them with cotton-like fluff. Like the tail of a rabbit.
  17. Actually, now that I think about it, there was a spot in GF2 where you could repair a Submission Baton. However, if your tool use wasn't high enough, you simply made it squeak with displeasure.
  18. Quote: Originally written by Pope John XX: That's what they want you to think. How do you know that? EDIT: And thus, with the passing to the new page, so ends the legacy of the cheesy one-line posts. And now... a moment of silence...
  19. First, this isn't just off-topic, this is the wrong forum. Secondly, it comes out sometime around November 20th for Mac, and sometime in early 2007 for Windows. EDIT: And since Dikiyoba beat me to it, I must add that you spelled 'apologize' wrong just so that my post has a reason for existing..
  20. But Canada doesn't have that much oil.
  21. Naturally, but why Canada? Why not some other country that's actually committed a major crime against us?
  22. Quote: Originally written by -X-: True, but a baton just doesn't have the dramatic effect of a bow. -X- also wonders what goes on in that tiny little baton-brain too much for his own good. To my knowledge, batons don't have brains. Besides, batons are the equivalent of modern-day firearms.
  23. Quote: Originally written by -X-: But the one thing that -X- would like in Geneforge 5 is pole weapons. Yes, pole weapons. And bows, too. Pole weapons sound neat, but not bows. I honestly don't want to see a bow in Geneforge. The thorn batons are good enough.
