The GF2 NOSE is a half-way decent trainer, if you have windows. As for canister locations, look in Schrodinger\'s Walkthrough . It should contain all you need to know.
-
Why not? All you need is a decent fan and coolant. The only real complaint I've heard about Prescotts is the heat, and that's something that I can easily circumvent (no pun intended) and is within my control. It's better than wondering if one day your processor is going to suffer from SNDS.
-
Well, I'm currently building a higher-end computer that should be done... sometime when it's obsolete. I'll have it completed eventually. But as I've learned the hard way, Socket 775 LGA Prescotts don't come cheap.

My computer has a 299 MHz Pentium 2 processor, and runs XP Pro. Also, it has several programs (anti-virus and firewalls, mainly) that start up as soon as I log in. Then I open up Task manager and start picking off unessential processes to save on CPU. All in all, it takes me about ten to fifteen minutes to reboot.
-
I'll do that in a little bit. Rebooting for me is a slow and arduous process, that I prefer to avoid. EDIT: That did it. Thanks!

For some reason, everytime I try to start BoA, I'm getting an Unhandled Exception, which looks like this: Code: Unhandled exception: c0000005At address: 004183c1 A few hours ago, I could get into it just fine, but now, I hit this error an the game shuts down. Any ideas?

How many canisters... (spoiler needed)

I hope this is wrong, but from what I've heard... Zero. Zip. Zilch. If you join the shapers, you're a monster. -

Nice! I definitely like this. Good work, Niemand!

EDIT: I'm a genius. I didn't open the .JAR file with Java like I'm supposed to, I extracted it with winRAR.

Speaking of undead... retribution This cheat summons a druid who obliterates any undead he can find.

Weird. Maybe it just is different on different computers. Suddenly, the game Geneforge takes on a whole new meaning.

Do you run a Mac by any chance?
-
Nope. It's GF2. And for clarification, I meant having your critter attack you manually (by clicking the attack button on it's turn and selecting your character).
-
All right. Here's a map of the area. See that red circle? If you still can't get out using the secret passage, then that's your destination. As you can also see, you have to go clear across giant territory to reach it. There's an underground passage somewhere within that red circle that will take you across the river out of giant territory. Where you come out is that blue dot on the other side, which is near Grindstone. Also, notice that pink exclamation mark? If you really aren't looking for a fight, I'd suggest you keep from getting too close. There's a small gang of giants there that would love to beat you to a pulp.
-
That secret passage should work to get you back. Try it one more time. There's one other route out of the Giant lands, but I need to look at the map carefully before I pinpoint it's location.

I decided to Google GF4, just to see what came up. At the top of the search, of course, was the GF4 homepage. But it's description was somewhat surprising. Quote: Originally written on Google: Drakon Fortress Spiderweb Software brings you Geneforge 4: Rebellion, the next chapter in their ... Geneforge 4 for Windows will be ready in early 2007. ... What's even weirder is that, when visiting the page to see if Spiderweb was now referring to itself as a 'drakon fortress', there was no trace of it anywhere. Is Google losing it's mind?

In GF2, however, if one of your creations attacked you, it immediately was game-over.

Do you have the right version? Trying to open a Mac application on a Windows system would probably cause some problems. If that isn't it, trying downloading it again. The file may be corrupted.
-
Still, can you please post the screenshots for us unfortunate Windows users?

Woah. Did I just witness topic necromancy?
