How do I get into the Turabi Gate and get it to open? I have defeated the Shaper guards, but the gate will not open.
-
Hm. First time I've heard of them. Thanks for the translation, Dikiyoba.
-
*Pulls hair out in screaming impatience* Thanks!

I have placed an order for G2 & G4. The form said one buisness day, but I placed my order at about 8:30 on Wednesday, 7:30 Seattle time. Does anyone have an estimate for when the email should come in?
-
And again in English, please. All I can understand is "Tribal Woods."
-
Nalyd, what exactly is that supposed to mean? Do I need to book a space at Computer Repair & Services?
-
I think it may have something to do with the fact he's used so many canisters that they just don't affect him any more. He certainly did not display the easily provoked tendencies of most other canister users.
-
I am not sure if any work by anyone has been put into a G4 editor. If there is an editor in progress, I would be quite happy to help. If such an editor is impossible, I would like to know. I have also not heard anything about script-editing in any Geneforge related forums lately, so if I am commiting a violation of any forum rules, I apologize.

Do you have your final caravan quest from Greta? The caravan will help you fight your way through the guards. If you are playing a rebel, open the gates for them. If you are playing a Shaper, and have general Crowley's quest to betray the caravan, light the signal fire by the water. If you are alone and do not have the caravan to help you, you may want to turn around and finish Greta's list of chores for her. And you're quite welcome.

I would probably stay in my room with some rubber tubing and plastic piping. Also an air compressor, a bucket of golf balls, a rubber sealer, a 2x4, and a quarterstaff. (Those few members who have been to the Spudtech website will know what I am talking about. ) I would probably take the defensive stand and defend my own territory. Aggressiveness is just too suicidal against such odds.

The rebels have several organisation errors, so I'd have to say Shapers for now.

Opon mars, I have today read so many of your posts concerning another Geneforge-related game I just have to say this: 1)Mr. Vogel, as it says on the SpidWeb homepage, is going to halt production of new games for a while. I would imagine suggestions would be welcome when work begins on G5. 2)As I am not a mean-hearted person, I refuse to squash any idea outright. Programming is not nightmarishly difficult. Well, most of the time. You may be able to design this Great Return game. Take a look at the Shareware Developer's Corner.

Heustess tells you that he/she/it participated in and was altered by the war. I know from G3 that apparently the drakons found out how to Shape in very tiny detail and knew almost everything about it, and the Shapers did not and simply experimented (read paragraph above merchandise display when trading with Bluth). Heustess may simply have been the victim of such experimenting, before Shaping was refined into making creations.

I sort of thought that from Heustess' description of the first Shaper vs Shaper war that it was wide open, involved "foul magic," and destroyed the rest of her/his/its race. Where did the trenches come up? I never read that, and I think I've covered the whole Sucia Isle. And in answer to the second question, the only Shaper/Shaper war I know of took place thousands of years ago, probably near the area known as "The Sentinels."

Thanks, but I just checked and "nomorecheats" doesn't work. Glitch?

How can I permanently disable all cheats in Geneforge 3, just to get rid of temptation?

If you have played any of the Geneforge games and actually read the little conversation windows, you would realize that, yes, canisters drive you way down Insane Alley. And your spelling is killing me. I can barely understand what you are trying to say.

Is this G1 glaahk, or G3?

I do not think you could really defeat my Level 52 Shaper, complete with two Drakon bodyguards, who, when hasted, usually stomp, whomp, or chomp whatever I tell them to. They understand the concept of "I point, you stab." -
Upgade Alwan at Scmitio?'s smithy in the Dhonal's Keep area. Upgrade again in Breeding Caverns on Gull Isle. Whoops. Almost forgot. Acid touch is from that crazy, lunatic Shaper in Caverns, upgrade to Shaped blade from iron blade at Keep. If you are playing a Guardian, I advise that you use the Acid Blade yourself, it complements Alwan's attack nicely. You get it by turning in the Golem Notes to the purity officer, also in the inner Keep.

Whoa, you mean Mooralis will be in Khor's Deeps? I nailed Hoge in the Inn, but I never saw head or toe of Mooralis until Icy End. Glitch, possibly?
-
Did you use the Geneforge? (spoilers for GF 1)
Aequitas replied to Good Canisters's topic in Geneforge Series
No Contest. Kahhk Trajkov, kill all on island. But leave the serviles west of the wastes live. So you can sell everybody else's stuff. End of story. -
Slightly off topic, but... I DO object to people taking His or His Father's name in vain, but only in an obvious reference to Christianity. And my signature is quite true, I AM the God of Mac OS X. But, the word "God" does not apply just to Christianity. And I do not use it in vain as a reference to Christianity. back to topic: Drakons are useful only at the end of the game. And since the only Drakon canisters are on the Isle of Spears, yeah, they really aren't very useful. And, out of curiosity and my Shaper's lust for power, has anyone learned of a cheat where you can create canisters?
-
Possibly a script attached to the cheat. I do not usually make my own scripts/cheats, nor usually use them. But, hey, it's free money that these pylons are dropping, right? I don't think it's really a big deal.
-
You are quite correct about the ur-Drakon, Mr. Sauerkraut. And I do not wish to sound pushy, but could you please not take His or His Father's name in vain?
