Anyways, try redownloading/reinstalling the game. That's pretty wel the typical advice here. You're on a Mac, so that should fix the problem.

Anyways, back to topic. My theory is that since we have the Turabi Gate and that outpost in Northwestern Terrestia which gets soldiers from those sealed doors, the next Geneforge would logically be in Western Terrestia.

I've been watching conversation over A4 for a while, and I have a very interesting question: Why is it sometimes called Averforge or Genevernum, and why does everyone virtually gasp when that comes up?

I tried using new ones. Now I realize I should have used the UNUSED item numbers.

I was inspired by the Mental Focus item from the editor in G3. So, I made a better version. The Purest Emerald is supposed to be a highly valuble gem, used to sell if you're broke or keep if you want to have some spending money later.

 

I'm really not sure why these things are popping up on the anvil, of all places. They are items I added to the item list myself. Oddly enough, this doesn't happen in G3, where there are many more editor-dependent items.

I believe there is a utility somewhere called Microsoft Mouse Helper. I found it useful for adjusting my mouse on my iBook G3. Perhaps there is an equivalent on Windows. Just a thought. I usually use Mac, so I think in terms of OS X relative to, say, Vista.

 

And if you can't find any utility by that name or a similar one, email Mr. Vogel, as Thuryl has stated. I usually use that as a last resort, because he's probably busy most of the time.

Anyways, I sent off my slightly more sophisticated editor to Micawber a little while ago. Haven't heard anything.

I thought I noticed a slight shimmering in the Shaper robes in G1, as well.

Precisely. I'd put the battle alpha on the newly created troublemakers, though. Those things have a little bit of muscle to them, hopefully enough in your case to take down another one of its kind.
