OK, I don't know how I got this far wihout this board, but here goes again...... I'm back at Ft Emerald, & I've found the secret passage. Now after I've slain mucho Golems, I'm at the control table. How the &*%^^$$^ do you turn the thing off.... Every spell and force I've tried omly produce s duck squack.I don't think I have any duck magic in my kit. All suggestions will be gratefully accepted.

So I go to the Castle with several Vahnati cloaks and a wave blade, but G-I does not show the least interest. How do I get him to take the gifts?

All is corrected. By the magic of time travel, I went back and followed the proper method of entering Almaria. Thank you all for the help.

Is there anything in Almaria that would preclude my finishing the game if I was unable to acquire it? Unfortunately, I got into a fight with the inhabitants before clearing the Vahnatti (?) in the sulfur flats. When I went back after that, they were obviously still mad at me, and I woud up killing everyone.

How do I get the Captain to open the blocks? Every time I ask, he dithers and then refuses.
