I've smashed every control panel for the golem makers, but still they keep coming.

Is there any way to completely stop them? I've got to the entrance of Rentar's room a couple of times, killed the lich outside and everything, but i've never been healthy enough to take her on due to contant sapping from golems as i walk there.

about 30 seconds after i posted this i realised i'd mispelt spire as spier in my search, no wonder i didn't find any posts

Ok, I'm pretty far through the game but i can't for the life of me work out how to get into here.

Am I missing a secret tunnel somewhere, or is it possible to loop round and get in from the top via the off map wilderness past Fort Remote.
