These things wont die. No matter what I throw at them. When the first one splits into four, I can figure out which is the real one, but no matter what I throw at it, it just doesnt die Help please

Played most games and wanted to download some old ones, but there are various warnings about old games not working on new computers. Have these problems been fixed and is it safe to play them

What's the best way to deal with these pylons, cant seem to get through them, they're too strong

Kelner gave me a key for the Tower. I assume its for the room with the control panel, but I cant unlock anything up there. How do I finish his quest.

Sorry for the confusion. There are the basic 4 characters in my party, didnt change them. My warrior is at lever 19, and the others are similar levels. The warrior has a ruby breastplate, steel broadsword and blessed shield as his main armor. Cannot fight the enemies in the tower, no matter what I do, augmentation, group heal, special protection, spells, I still cannot stay alive. Cant seem to beat anything in this tower. I assume I have to do this to get X to open a door to get the dispel barrier spell Any ideas would be appreciated ______________________________________________ Previous post My mage and priest have learned all the spells and I dont seem to be getting any more of them. In A1 2 and 3 I seemed to get higher level or different spells as I went along, its not happening in A4 the spells are the same and the same level as I already have. I have played A1,2,3 and had no problem, but I must be doing something wrong in 4. I dont seem to be strong enough to beat anything even though I am level 19. I am in the Tower and cant beat any of the worm things. Also theres loads of magic barriers I cant get through. Did the X trial and thought he would teach it to me. I havnt been able to get any spells from the last 4 trainers including X it says my levels are too high. Its getting very frustrating, is it like this for everybody or just me

Hi, cant seem to find Fort Avernum. In the walk through it says it is south of Duvno, all I can find is Silvar. Also its not on the world map, can anyone help please

Can anyone tell me where to get move mountains 3, Im in the Chasm of Screams and my level 2 doesnt work. I think its in a stone circle but must have missed that one.

I seem to have been all over the trog castle killed everything, trying to find a way to get back in if I leave. There's tons of loot around that I cant carry. Is there a way to get back in if you leave. Have I missed something. Thanks

Hi, how do I get into the trog castle. In the walk through it says to fake it but in the game if I try that they wont let me in. Does anyone know another way.

Hi, I have learned the spells or rather my mage has, I dont see them either in combat or non combat, indoors or outdoors.

Hi, thanks all of you, but I cant reload even when its my turn in any fight so far, pressing esc works but its a pain, also there is no haste and a lot of other spells I should have even though I am level 9 and have high mage and priest skills for just starting the game all I have is far sight and light. Maybe the disc didnt load properly, I think I am going to have to delete the program and start again. Just finished upper Avernum, will be a pain to start over. Any ideas before I do that?

Hi, thanks all of you, but I still cant reload during a fight. I think I either have a bug or I got an old copy when I bought it. I guess I will email spiderweb and see what they say.

Hi, I hope this is a bug, its driving me crazy. After playing A1 and 2, in three I cannot reload a saved game in the middle of a fight. I have to wait until everyone is dead and this can take ages. Does anyone know a way around this please.

Hi, thanks all of you. Found the orb at last, but now I am really stuck. Just killed the avanti and went through the portal. Totally out of magic and herbs and now stuck with the trap doors. Is there any way out of here when you are running on empty? I hope so would hate to have to do it all again.
