  1. He teleported twice, until he ended up in the bottom right corner where the secret area is; then for some reason he stopped and wouldn't die. He did his little speech each time he died, but then nothing. Luckily I'd saved just before attacking him, and when I went back to that save, I knocked him down again and then he disappeared into his special area, where I killed him. I'm not sure why it seemed to have locked up and he wouldn't die before though.

  2. He just doesn't want to die!

I've got him down to v.wounded, and he disappears, then again, and he disappears again, ending up at the bottom right of the map in that circle. Now he's been on the slimmest of HP left according to the HP bar, and I've done a couple of thousand damage to him since then, but he still won't die. How do I kill him?

  3. Hi all,

I'm stuck on the Nephilim bandits mission - I've talked to the farmers, and they say look at the mines to the south. I've been to both mines just south of there, and there's a locked door in the bottom one which I can't open. Do I need to get in there to finish this mission, and if so, where do I find the key?

    Cheers!

  4. When do I know that I've successfully completed one of the trials? I think I did the first going clockwise after entering, the one with the ogre statue - by leading the goblin to the statue - but I'm not sure if that's all I have to do or not.

  5. How many times do I have to try to get into the warpmind chitrach holes before it lets me do so? I've wandered off and come back later, used the teleport thingy to go elsewhere then come back several times, but it still won't let me in.

  6. I'm in the workshop, facing the prime servant and its minions, but I keep getting killed. I've tried killing the minions one at a time, but that doesn't work, as they don't die; I've once managed to get all 4 of them on my side, but they don't stay that way for long, and the little damage they do to the prime servitor doesn't seem to be much, or to last for long. Any advice that you can give me? Do I need higher levels of nature lore or whatever it's called?

I did enjoy A4 but i enjoyed A3 so much more

What i am trying to say is maybe we should go back to the old engine and graphics i doubt any of us play Jeffs games for how good stuff looks that was never spiderwebs strong point
I couldn't disagree more. As soon as I'd finished A4, I dloaded A3 with the intent of playing the demo then buying the rest of the game, but I just can't summon up the enthusiasm for it - I haven't even finished the demo part. I vastly prefer the new engine, and hope that A5 continues to use the same engine and graphics as A4.
  8. I eventually got through by just running through as fast as I could (group haste is good), and resurrecting any dead members (luckily my priest didn't die). It isn't really a problem on the way out...
