Thank you, Thank you! That was indeed the right answer lol...i had to activate the control panels, then run to the center where the portal was started, and use the onyx scepter to seal it up. thanks! almost done with the game now! Then its on to avernum 4 when it comes out!

ok, help me!! I've read the walkthrough on how to destroy the portal, but i must be missing something here. I got the key, got the codes, etc., but it said to go to the nw and break the crystal. All 4 crystals are unbreakable! So i'm thinking there must be another crystal somewhere i'm not finding. Any help would be much appreciated!
