Burgeoning Battle Gamma

Burgeoning Battle Gamma (7/17)

  1. In Matt P. walkthrough, the cost of bought skills is calculated per skill point. If you pay 1200c for a skill costing 4 skill points, the cost is 300 per SP. Therefore you can weight the cost of skill with the cost of wisdom cristals (or potions). If a 2SP crystal is sold at 900c, it's cheaper to buy a skill costing 300c per skill point than buying the crystal and using it.
  2. The problem is to get each of your character, buffed and hasted, in a corner. And to have at least two servants on your side to keep the sentinel busy. Then it's just a matter of damaging the opposing servants fast enough to have them back on your side and let them to the job. Ah, the fight will be rather long, be carefull not to hit the wrong key and leave the safety of a corner.
  3. At the far end of the depths, after Dervish Tolmen's camp (not sure of his name) there is a dock with three boats. You can take one to sail to the Azure Gallery and Highground, where there is a pylon. If you go back to Anama's land (via pylons) the gates would be open so you can finish exploring the Howling Depths.

  5. I agree with you, I now go directly to the jobboard and talk to everybody before exploring but I still fear to lose a quest each time I attack a group of monster. Part of the problem is that the amount of XP you may gain in the game is limited. I don't want to lose the 50-100 I get from a quest. Even if I won't miss them to finish the game, it may prevent me from developping my character as far as I wish. I miss Exile 2 and its respawning dungeons where you could always get the 50 XP or 500 GP you may feel you need.
  6. Wel, I finally went through all the Darkside's ambushes and killed Derwish Thomeln. I would like to go to the nearest town to sell my loot, regain my spell points and activate the pylonn. However I have to go through a water chute and won't be able to go back by boat. Will I be able to come back to Howling Depth later, In other words, will the Anama's wall gate be open if I go back there? Or do I have to finish the area before going farther because it won't be accessible later?
  7. Thanks for your information. I finaly got it. I didn't like the fight. It was especialy frustrating when you get killed by moref after making it appear and had to do it again from the beginning. There is an area with a couple of bodies down a ledge in the south east of the cave. Can you get there? (and how?)Or is it just here for teasing?
  8. Thank you, I hope I will be able to see the spot of light. Maybe I will do this part in easy mode, I hate this but this fight really piss me of, I need to know what I have to do and to see whether I am making progress. Are servants created at a fixed rate or do they try to maintain a fixed number, in other words: may I get overhelmed if I don't kill them fast enough?
  9. How unstable servant do I have to take out before Moref appears? Or how many time do I have to kill the one it inhabits? They keep from appearing, I hate it and I want at least to know when it will stop.
  10. Thank you, I found it. In fact I already had, but I didn't wish to fight the Nephil for fear of angering the nearby village.
  11. Thank you. Yes, I do Lark's chain of quest, have to do Moref now, but I prefer to wait a bit... All I wish to know is wether I still have to test all combinations of entry/switch in the chitrachs' nest (I hate this) or will find a way from another area.
  12. West of the chitrachs' nest, there is an area (with graymold) across a river. Can I get there? (and how?) Or is it another of Jeff's teases with unreachable areas? EDIT (Ephesos): Changed east to west to prevent confusion.
  13. Thank you. The key was getting the servants on my side as soon as possible. Once the sentinel is occupied it's long and tedious, but safe (as long as you don't hit the wrong key).
  14. The damaged sentinel's lighting bolts keep killing me, even when I stay with one character in each corner where I thought I would be out of range... What should I do?
  15. For the wands: you don't have to equip them, just use them either from a quick action slot (like a spell or a discipline) or from your inventory.
