  1. I know I tested joining the Awakened or Obeyers and leaving before the Geneforge, but the joined the Takers play through was only for after the Geneforge area.
  2. It's more likely that Jeff would fill the gap in the existing Shaping class creations so with Ornks as battle and Cockatrice as magic, that a new one would be fire shaping. It really depends upon his mood and what the new creation does to see where it fits.
  3. That's one of those areas that don't care about the Amulet and are there to guard an approach to the Other.
  4. I didn't find it useful because by the time I got the best version there wasn't much left to use it on.
  5. There is a soldier that appears in one of the northern buildings after you have cleared them out that needs to report back to the Fort. Note the building contents change after you have cleared out enough of them.
  6. This is why you need the spray baton and crystals to deal with more than one target. It isn't as good as an agent because you need to switch batons, but it is better than the original game where crystals and wands were the only option.
  7. The Power Station crystal is in a box at the end of the path along the west and north walls near the two turrets. With enough leadership you can get the servant mind to open the doors with only 3 crystals, but he grumbles about it.
  8. I'm trying to remember where an option was I'm just doing this for the money and the person you are talking to is upset that you motive is pure greed and not picking a side.
  9. I think the number is closer to 8 to 10, but they tend to run off when damaged to heal so they seem like more. You see more of them if you come from the bottom edge or near their camp by the locked door,
  10. You are trying to cross the hardest guarded bridge until you hit the Front Gate, If you allied with the Takers, then they aren't hostile. This area is hard even around level 14 because they are hard to hit. They are there to protect against some one else,
  11. It's about 6 groups of increasing difficulty and you'll know from the message that you did it.
  12. Jeff mentioned to ta testers that he already started Queen's Wish 2. The question is after Geneforge 3 remake whether he does a new game or remakes another game. It will depend upon whether he decides to try a new idea he has been considering or just keep updating the older games so new computers can play them.
  13. The Purging quest is easy, if you run for the exit and don't fight the guards at early levels. I remember testing it and an agent has it the easiest if you have airshock. A guardian can do it too, but it is harder. A shaper would need to sacrifice creations depending on what you have. Gnoerrel is low hit points, but get trapped by the guards and it's over. Ellhrah has some health, but at least his guards are easier. Rydell is the easiest because his guards are loyal to the Shapers and don't interfere.
  14. Gray spot means use gray spore baton, green spot for green spore baton, and red stripe for red spore baton.
  15. Using and destroying the Geneforge give almost a level each in experience and bring me from level 18 to 20. The Inner Shaper Crypt is usually about half level in experience, but the outer is barely anything. Spirit City, the Great Temple, and the Front Gate aren't much at that point. Going back to do the Codexes and canisters gives about 500 experience and was what pushed me to 21 the one time I tried it. Before I was 420 XP hot of level 21 in my best game because I used them when I found them.
  16. The orb is being carried by that poor starving thad, but he isn't always there in the zone. At least he doesn't wander around the zone so just keep going back there and one time when you enter the zone he'll be there.
  17. Creations go by a combination level, qucikaction, and agility, and I've had them go before my character. :Party order also matters and usually take precedence when they are close.
  18. They aren't hostile if you bring The Mind should be in the stand in the corner.
  19. You need to right click on the enemy to see its level because just because it is the same creation type doesn't mean it is the same level and stats. They vary by zone.
  20. The Western Wastes thad always appear by its nest om the east side, but isn't always there when you enter the zone. It may take half a dozen tries before you see it. The Drayk's Valley thad moves around, but always seems to be there the first time.
  21. The original game version had shocks when you did them in the wrong order.
  22. Jeff said they were rare and meant for those with the patience to keep going back. I've gotten most of them in one game.
  23. Worse if you don't remove zero value quest items from the junk bag, they can accidentally get sold.
