That's mostly due to not enough beta testers. There are only so many things that you exploit in each play through. Some of them got caught.

You do have to play the game at least twice so you have a chance to hear what all 4 NPCs have to say. Shadowwalkers are cool to play. Too bad you can't play with more than two at a time.

Eschalon games require doing the quests to get major experience. Book 2 fixed most of your complaints except experience. It's a much better game engine.

Yes, the Trakovites will get you in there to sabotage the place. It's the opposite version of the fight from Alwan's faction.

Canisters don't cause as many problems as in the earlier games. I think you are past the last canister check until the final screens.

This seems unlikely to influence anyone's vote until you consider the environment: you walk into a polling place, where all political paraphernalia is banned, register, pick up a ballot... and an extra sheet of paper advertising the spelling of one candidate's name! A little suggestive if you ask me. That resulted from a legal ruling over whether write-ins would be accepted with a misspelled candidate's name. When you have an uncommon name, they were asking how wrong it could be and still be counted.

I stayed home and played some Eschalon: Book 2 and wandered through Fathamurk.

Geneforge 2 - Questions for the Veterans
Randomizer replied to SpaceCadetHX's topic in Geneforge Series
+1 levels damage in combat does one more die of damage. If you read the instruction manual, there is a section giving spells and mentioned in each attack spell is the damage it does. -
So far from beta testing, the higher difficulty is really only noticeable with some mini boss fights. That difference is mostly on how fast you can die.

There is one raised area that is reached by a portal hidden by a lever in the other tunnel to the west.

Do you guys wear items with "Stealth"?[G5]
Randomizer replied to Flipstylez's topic in Geneforge Series
I know it worked in Geneforge 4, but I wasn't sure for Geneforge 5. I think you are right. -

Stealth means you can sneak around better (get closer to them) especially mine triggers. -
Jeff confirmed that luck has never affected item drops.

Sorengard has a chance to drop a dagger. -
Eamon and if you have to ask what it was then you are way too young,

Avadon is more of a multi character game than Geneforge. The NPCs are much closer to your character than Alwan and Greta, it's similar to the early Avernum games where you could recruit NPCs for your party. Enjoy Genevernum Gate.

Still you can graduate without learning anything useful.

Written prelims are especially bad when we recognize the question from a text book and can tell exactly what was copied wrong.

There is enough decent armor out there that not having NM for a backup mage isn't as big a handicap. Especially since you don't have the strength in the early part of the game for armor. There is runed plate near the end and a few other that aren't bulky armor that blocks mage spells. Having both spell casters with low level spells in each other's primary area really helps. There are plenty of places where you want more choices for damage types. I have a DT/EW singleton that is using both spell groups so it is possible.

No, that secretary that leaves to go back to her desk.
