Geneforge 1- Mutagen is scheduled for February 2021, so Queen's Wish 2 will be about a year later. Depending upon how much Jeff reuses the first game engine it might be as early as December 2021.

From the Nisse point of view, Haven is interfering with their test subjects. When you see what the Nisse fear you get an idea of how much they view others as beneath them.

Have you talked to Istara in Sliven?

Have you found a chest in the northeast behind a heavily locked door?

The easiest work around is using a partition to play the games using Windows 10 and the Windows versions, although you may need to ask for a registration code depending on where you bought the games.

From what I can see you need to find the correct hidden switch in the southmost part of the Defiled Crypt and then use a Move Mountain spell.

You can play the Avadon Trilogy and the Open Source version of Blades of Exile will run on a Big Sur using an M1 CPU. Download demos from Spiderweb Software and see what runs.

Hold up, I just noticed something. Somehow the character in the screenshot has 2 thahds or battle alphas, a clawbug, 2 cryoras, an artila and fyora with only 53 essence?! I understand there may be development cheats or something active, but that seems... extremely odd.
I looked it up and it seems Jeff created bare minimum versions of all his creations. When you play the game you will see why that wasn't a good idea.

I looked at my notes and this area has lots of hidden switches to useful items and wheels to open gates. So you might have missed the one you needed.

Jeff mentioned that once as a poor eye beast he placed there and never got around to using. So it's stuck in there with no way out.

The end is in sight or is that a mirror reflecting the headlights? Now scheduled for February 2021 release. Only 3 more zones to finish the world.
"Geneforge 1 - Mutagen is getting very close to done. Five days of work to finish the world. One day for the ending. A day or two more to finish everything we forgot to finish. And then it’s time for the Windows port and pushing the boulder uphill to a February release."
Stealth Skill:
"We haven’t talked much about ways we’ve changed the game for the remaster. So we want to preview one of the new systems. We’ve been asked a lot about the new Stealth skill and how that will work. We really like how this skill has turned out, and it’s a valuable tool for players who follow routes with less combat.
Every enemy has a radius at which it can detect enemies. When you increase your stealth skill, it temporarily reduces this radius by a short distance per point of skill. This delay is temporary. When you see a '?' over an enemy's head, your stealth kept it from noticing you, but the delay won't last forever. Early on, a small amount of stealth will get you past a lot of pests. In advanced areas, evading the defense systems will take much more."

It depends upon two main things: difficulty level you are playing and class. The harder the difficulty level the harder it can be because it doesn't do as much damage. Blademaster and Sorceress are the only class that use a bow while the others use different range weapons. Blademaster does really well with a bow and some special abilities work well with it. The only real problem is you can't use a bow in melee and you will need to prepare for that.
Increasing dexterity to do more damage with a bow also increases your ability to evade some attacks so that makes the class better.

Apple is giving a 2 year timeline to convert existing products to the new CPU.

I used a G4 iBook Power PC for the Classic Environment and thought that was Rosetta. I don't remember having the ability to run Power PC programs on my Intel Macs.
There was an extremely negative comparison between the old Rosetta and this one. However it's gone from my browser history.
I would really like to maim the designers that reduced the port numbers on the new M1 computers. My Mac Mini now has two Thunderbolt ports with one for the monitor and two USB ports instead of the previous four. So during setup those were mouse and keyboard until I could install the wireless keyboard.
-
Apple did something right this time and created Rosetta 2, a hidden x86 emulator that you install once, to allow running older Intel designed software on the M1 chip without a noticeable difference. It runs the new Geneforge 1- Mutagen as fast as on an Intel Mac. No loading up the emulator like the original Rosetta needed for OS 9 software on OS 10 computers.
No need for Jeff to make any changes in the games that run on current Mac computers.

This remake eliminated the 180 day limit of the original Avernum. The downside is a certain event that happened around day 110 in the original is now closer to day 180 in the remake.
For the passage of time in the towns, the original timeline holds here.

It has been a while since I played, but I think cave lore gives you a chance to avoid damage from crossing certain hazardous terrain. However poisoning is also checked against resistance to poison.

Lighting works in most games, you can tell if the item in your backpack has the same icon as with potions and wands to use, to increase the area you can easily see in dark areas. It doesn't work in some special areas where monsters are meant to sneak up on you and you can only see a few squares around you like the Mertis Spiral.
You can steal while townsfolk watch, but there are different levels of how much you can take before they get hand and attack. Some places let you take everything and others attack after one item,.

The ogres are to the south of where you get the quest. Keep looking around and eventually you will find them.

It isn't just Americans that are gullible because then people wouldn't fall for scams so easily even when publicized. People want to have their beliefs reinforced and the Internet makes is so much easier to get information to target individuals that have those beliefs.
It doesn't help that Trump for so long attacked reliable media companies as "enemies of the state" and called verified reporting as fake news. That makes unreliable sources so acceptable even when repeatedly shown as false, paying for witnesses to repeat fake information (Fox news), or supporting disinformation campaigns that align with their views.
-
Nope, you got to start from nothing to get them again with skill levels and buying spells.
Avernum 5 was the only game where there was a way to get them back.

I think piercing crystals work on level 2 barriers, but there will be places you can't enter because of level 3 barriers. A few can be entered with move mountains, but you will miss getting to some items and locations.

Have you tried talking to Jenell after returning to Avadon? Quests don't get eliminated from the quest log any other way unless you alter a script to remove it and you would need to find the quest number.

Completely lost at A3 Golem's Storyline
in Avernum Trilogy (2011-2018 remake versions)

Sorry in advance. The older versions let you do things differently.
The next part is to go to the lowest level from the main level and block the beams with mirrors so you can now exit to the north to smash the last power crystal.
Then it is go to the top level and move some more mirrors around to destroy the last crystal.
Welcome to Spiderweb Software. Please leave your sanity at the door. You won't need it to move mirrors.
