Edit: Does the edge color represent location? Because in that case, I met Diki in California and Tyran in France, so those edges should be red and purple, not purple and green.
For that matter, I met Marlenny, Thralni, and Actaeon in New York and Sarachim in Baltimore.

Why not move Goldengirl up and to the right, so the line between her and Bard can be straight?

I can definitely say from personal experience that both games run fine on Intel HD 4000 graphics.

Windows XP is probably your best bet. It's new enough to support the hardware emulated by VirtualBox and old enough to play the Exile games without issue.

I dunno if iPads have this basic feature, but on android devices you can plug in a mouse into the USB port (or a keyboard, even) and use it just like you would on a real computer. Might be worth a go.
You can use a bluetooth keyboard with an iPad, but there is no mouse support.

A stylus would register the same way a finger would.

It can be a problem in some of the PC games, too. The newest games now change the cursor to tell you if you are in range.
Make sure the monster is highlighted before clicking.
There is no cursor on an iPad. You "click" on things by tapping them with your finger. As far as I am aware, there is no mechanism on the iPad version that tells you if you are or are not in range when using a ranged weapon.

Very few, and those were more connected changes. For example, the reputation record-keeper in the Castle has appeared in some games as Gilda and in other games as Radner.
That's a neat little reference. I probably wouldn't have noticed from just Gilda or just Radner.

It's highly unlikely that this will happen. The last time SW did something like that was updating Exile 1 to be more like Exile 2.

Part of this was because of the day/night thing (which I would assume will not be returning in A3RW).
If it does, I hope it's slightly easier to see at night.

Perhaps they are calling Escape from the Pit Avernum 7 and Crystal Souls Avernum 8. It's a weird way to organize the games, but it would explain the numbering.Avadon 3, ok.
Avernum 9, excuse me what? Have I missed something?

With all settings maxed out, GTA 5 uses more than 4GB of VRAM, and you said your GPU has 2GB...Just as an example I can play Grand Theft Auto 5 with over 60 FPS on max graphics settings. (with V sync off). That said, I agree that you shouldn't be having problems with Avernum 4.

Maxes out at about 40mbps. I should get a new wireless adapter - the one built into this machine is pretty weak.
If a new computer is getting only 40Mbps over wifi, it's probably the router not the adapter. Does your router support 802.11n?

Nice. What specs does it have?

At the Internet's suggestion, I've been watching a new show, The Expanse. It strikes me as what would happen if Firefly and Cowboy Bebop had a baby, and that baby had really bad haircuts. Pls, go watch it, so that it won't get canceled after one season.
I love it too. I bought the season pass on iTunes specifically to show my support, since a lot of science fiction shows suffer from a large portion of their target audience not paying for them. It seems to have worked because it has already been renewed for a second season. On a related note, I just started reading Leviathon Wakes, the first book in the series the show is based on. I'm really enjoying it so far.

Personally, I loved Fury Road. Do yourself a favor and watch it on Blu-Ray or HD digital download if you can. The visuals are amazing and benefit greatly from watching it in HD.

It says "company name," not "company logo." This isn't Dragonweb Software.PS: The question in the registration form is misleading: What animal appear in the company name? Jesus, there's a dragon in the logo. Took me 15 minutes (and countless attemps with various synonyms for "dragon") to realize my mistake. -
It's highly unlikely.

Was it uranium?

Slarty's definition of "DC Area" seems to include anything in a 2-hour radius of DC. I'm no closer to DC than you are.
