I think Avernum is dead to me... I love the graphics of Avernum 1- Blades but I hate geneforge and its combat system. If only there were other versions of AVernum 4 and 5 being made

I still don't like the geneforge like graphics

Ne1 know if Krizan can fully die? And were those barriers put there by mages or slimes? (Probably Mages, so the slimes had a wee bit more distraction)

To add onto Waylander's post, you have to find a statue in the Bandit/Goblin Caves via east side of Avernum. It should be in the wolf area... EDIT: Use of Far Sight would be helpful

Umm... there is a secret passage in that room where you saw him peak his head in... somewhere in the south wall...

Accually it was susposed to be your facourite weapon... but I was high or something, had a project that needed doing and when I finished it... lets just say, Never use Strong Perm. Markers *plops on the floor talking about monkies in his pantS*

In agate tower... there is a room to the south west i think, secret passage... You gotta walk through a few barriers and then kill this one mage... can't remember his name... I don't think it was Jordan (From Exile)... but when you get to where he was standing, look around, find a slime pit and destroy it with fireball, THEN go to slime valley EDIT: I believe there IS a walkthrough somewhere on your computer for the demo (I think its in the file of the Avernum 3 game After your able to enter there, get ready for an ambush by some slimes... after you slay them, go to the center of the room and find a control panel... Those buttons are where the gates are on the mini-map (you have to kill the things one at a time.. only one gate can be opened at a time) when you find a area that is endless mauve slimes, walk along the right side wall until you get a special encounter, go through that hole in the wall and kill that slime... once all pools (i think 4 excluding the Agate Tower one) walk over some weird rune and face the final fight of the Slimes, after you kill the Alien Slime, walk along the north side of the wall until you find a secret passage, find a rune somewhere there -Some Dude who likes copying people (one time thing I SWEAR) and is a walking, typing, computer walkthrough geek

I think alot of people aren't voting, either cuz ( not many people on ), they noobs, OR they perfer magic (I'm not anti-magic, but its good to have weapons for backup [[Magic is powerful, but weapons are forever.]]

Isn't it that they overwrite a weaker or equal powered monster?

I mean... Avernum is getting more and more like real life (except it laags***EDIT: SOMETIMES*** and you can save and go to the Character Editor to give you characters the best items in the game [if you know the number *hint Xian items are in the 400's*]) why not let people murder. If you REALLY wanna get detailed, you can think of carrying the victim's body and dumping them somewhere (Ouu Krizan would just be SO GOOD for thing *talkin bout the secret passage near the inn*) but if someone sees you carrying the body, you can try and lie your way out saying your a mortitian/kill em/ use some dumbfound or confuse spell on em. Ne1 else agrees?

Yea... that me too, you know that place, Marish, just off the coast of the Filth Factory (you can fly there if you take a rest at movement three on a little bit of rocks, then fly again to the land)... Good place to test those monsters. Drakes, Basilisk, Mutant LIzard, and a Augmented Giant (Oh ****, I killed the one in Erica's tower... need to find another)

Yea, I was looking through some of the cities cuz I was bored (Amazing what a wee bit of adventuring could end you up with!) and I found a few people who will teach me. *Put on that oldies song that has the word "Teacher" in it but has no clue what the name is*

ehh... it took me a few months to learn BoE... I'm not good at learning new things... EDIT: Well I finally know how to make a dungeon... not much new... but more complicated... Editor sometimes puts things where I don't want them to, but nothing that can't be easily fixed... Still don't know how to make dialog. From what I think its like coding a game... lemme rephrase that, its like coding a flash game, without using flash editor...
