ouch. i had completed that quest without poking around more in the dialogue options. and so later, i finished the golem quest, lo and behold, the vahnati in ghikra are gone. i suppose there's nothing i can do about it. thanks for your help anyway.

where to get capture soul and simulacrum lvl 1? i have looked at all the faqs but only found the lvl3 ones.

i did try to solve the Hawke's Mansion quest, but the ghost kept repeating something, so i couldn't finish the quest, if that's where the capture soul lvl1 book is.

i really hate puzzle stuff like this, especially when the FAQ is confusing.

i tried following directions from the FAQ from gamefaqs.com, but a lot of it doesn't make sense. at one point it says i must push a mirror into the first room, then push the room's mirror north, but there is NO extra mirror other than the non-movable one that it starts out with.

can anyone help me get through this? maybe a map too?

i killed Elhioc and Voktharo, then i went back to Aminro to find everybody dead, and it's a plague of troglodytes. wow, what happened? i didnt even get to complete the quest. a similar thing happened with the southpoint lighthouse, where the lady was replaced by a man named G-something, and i couldnt complete the quest.

i've already killed like 5 slime pools but i can't get through the runes.

i've been into this game for 10 hours or so now, i just completed filth factory and the cult. i'm not sure if i've ever seen the tower of the magi 0_0

i already know that she's either in shayder or bavner, but i've done everything the faq told me to do. i went back and forth to each town, unlock all doors, go to every square inch, give gold to that bum for info.

i'm basically stuck. what if she's gone? i did have a problem where i accidentally killed the necromancer in the north lighthouse and had to reset hostile towns from char editor.
