  1. The price is a reference, but not the only reference. The guardian claymore is one of the most versatile weapons in the game- everyone can use it and everyone wants it, but the spectral rapier has better stats at first glance- a bonus to armor, to parry, to stun resistance, and a higher base damage. However, that's easily countered by the bonus to strength from the guardian claymore. The price is best as an order-of-magnitude guess. If a piece of armor is 10x more expensive than another armor, then the more expensive one is almost definitely better. Differences of a few hundred when the item itself is a few hundred don't mean much.
  2. Quick question for those who have played through as rebels- are there any other trainers who will increase your skills in the forbidden spells/shapings? I know Fanjul will train you for cheap in the shaping that Rahul's wife also teaches, but are there any other rebel only trainers? If not, it seems that the loyalists should have little trouble blowing away their enemies.
  3. Weight is a great idea, but probably something I'm not going to be able to do at present since it's been a pain finding all those items a second time, and a third will probably drive me crazy. Although if it comes down to it, I could just look up the scripts. Hopefully the item list will be straightened up a bit shortly, and will look better in the next version.
  4. Gamefaqs chooses the name of the file I update, which is the source of much annoyance. Oh well, at least they got the name everywhere else correct.

  6. Hi all, the FAQ has been updated. I've taken most peoples comments/additions up through Saturday and have added them. Also, the layout is slightly improved- a bit more definition between sections. Let me know what you think. Thanks!
  7. The recipes section is actually designed to look like that- namely the two critical ingredients are above and below the perfected item. I did this so that people can see the choices they have for the artifacts. However, I can see how it would be confusing. I will add some text describing this better. An update with most of this info will be followed up with tomorrow. Thank you all!
  8. Gamefaqs only allows text documents, so no division via html. Zeviz helped a bundle with splitting A2 and Nethergate, though. EDIT: If you would like, once I've finished, I'm open to having someone make a webpage out of it. Thank you all for the additions. I will try putting them in shortly.
  9. Blackjack- thanks, will add. I had figured out the increase in QA from the tiny orb of mist, but I haven't tried any tests with it. Walter- Has that been verified with Essence Armor? I thought people had found it didn't do that. Hm. Also, any idea on the damage percent lost by parry? I know that's part of the description, but I want to make sure it actually does that.   15. Rebel shapers have no problem with him as far as I can tell. They can get a bonus just the same as the rest.

  18. Did a quick bit of testing with some of the spells- Essence shield and armor both increase your dodging ability, but do not reduce the amount of damage taken. Steel skin and protection both drop the amount of damage taken from a hit by 20%.
  19. Hm- do you know where those are located? I have a canister of searer in Fort Kentia, and a create vlish at Main Army Camp (locked store room), but am missing those. Thanks.
  20. There's another shaped belt in Spharon's Lands, so by the time you're able to make the artifact, you'll have the necessary supplies.

  22. Orois Blaze will give you one point. There are canisters in Icy End and Benerii-Eo Gates. Rebels may have access to more, but I don't know.

  24. Hi all, I've been away on a trip for the past week, but have hammered out a FAQ of the demo version. I will probably post to GameFAQs shortly. Comments/additions, etc are always appreciated.
  25. Infiltrator's cloak, Tunic, and shield all add one point of mechanics each. Additionally, getting trained/altered by Tolleran (Monastery) and Orois Blaze in mechanics doesn't count as a canister. Will +5 do it for you?
