The one Khoth destroyed? Yep I've got the wrong one. Thanks for the advice.

While I was looking for Grah-hoth's fortress I came across the ruined empire fort. I cleared it out and destroyed the orb. But now that I am trying to join the Scimitar they keep telling me that I still have to destroy the communications orb. So am I screwed?

BTW. In case you were wondering yes Avernum is the best game I have EVER played.
