nevermind, this can be deleted.

I am trying to become part of the Scimitar, and need to smash the Orb in the Gremlin Cave in the Scree pits; yet the only way to get to that room is through a portal that doesn't seem to do it for me.

I looked it up on some annotated maps(http://www.silverchat.com/~silver/Avernum.old/Wrappers1/ScreePits.html) and it says the portal i need to get to the orb transports to "{Exit A, Exit B, Exit C}"

I have tried walking away from it multiple times attempting to get to exit B, but it is not working. Am I missing something that has to do with the meaning of the use of {} rather than regular parenthesis'?

i'm playing the first avernum.

i have been to the annotated maps, and seeing as how i use my arrow keys to navigate, i completely forgot about diagonal movement.

I can't seem to get past the obstacles in the far back room that contains the Demonslayer Pommel in the Nephar Fort... there is NO way to get around them.

help!!
