  1. 41b: If you can lie and get away with it, wh don't this independant source of information blow your cover?
  2. I'd say this before an admin gets a chance; Please don't "revive" a dead topic. Rather, create a new one.
  3. But G1 still rocks all the other games.
  4. Noone said that the new techniques were bad. They are indeed superior to the old - but that that noes change the fact that Shaping yourself is obviously a poor idea.
  5. Agreed. Too bad Jeff got poor imaginaton at times. Edit: Scrambled words don't look too neat.
  6. Quote: Originally written by Phay Tsai: Jeff deleted the seemingly most moral sect (the Awakened) in GF3. Actually, Jeff let a member of the Awakened from GF2 join the rebel and be happy with that position. That Awakened actually makes his apperance in G1. He is not alligned back then, though, but allready ancient. Would not surprise me if he shows up in G4 aswell.
  7. Herbs (Harmony Isle, East Docks) Notes ( Dhonald's, Rebel-friendly only. South-East docks.) Shaper Equipment (Gull Island, Stonespire)
  8. If you comprimise your sanity you risk endangering others more than hurting the rebels. A true Shaper would find a wayw ithotu canisters. If not, he is no true Shaper.
  9. For an easier gameplay, focus your skillpoints on the area where your character type is Strong. Don't go out on your line to buy up shaping skills if your an Agent, for example.
  10. That is from reading books, not from battleing monsters and suddenly learning more about shaping. Makes no sense.
  11. 33: There are always two possible ways of approach.
  12. 12 - There must be some kind of Unisex in the Geneforge world, because even if described as a "she" some of the people in Geneforge still look exactly like the ones described as a "he". 13 - Shapers must have monopoly on textile industry, because there are only 4-6 diffrent available full sets of clothes in the world. Going to a masqurade must be boring.
  13. I think you are overreacting. Most people just like the inform others that it is considered good form to edit ones post instead of posting again. This is usually informed by a phrase like "Please Edit your post instead of doubleposting." I can't se any harm in that.
  14. They would still be thinking, living creation with a mind of equal capacity of a human. That mean they should talk in special encounters and such (like Greta and Alwan)
  15. But they are also melee creatures, and thus give a much biggar damage to magic resistant creations, even though it's the same attack type. (Like Gazers that are resistant to Searer, but take allot of damage from a Rotghroth hit)
  16. We probably won't get to do that. Afterall, Serviles are made because they can thin, talk and operate tools. But we make creations to fight in combat with, so the serviles will never be useful. That is why Jeff won't bother to let us create them.
  17. There are those spawned worms and spawned crawlers, but you can't make those yourself.
  18. This is how I play it, and I get XP from every specal encounter except one (where you need 12 leadership.): Leadership: 7 By Fort Kentia. 8 by San Ru. +2 from items on Dhonalds (Infiltrators Vest/Cloak). Maybe even the Infiltrators ring. Mechanics: 6 by Greenwood Mines. Get Tinker Gloves (+2Mech) From San ru. 8 before entering Acidic Valley, preferably before reaching level 20 (Which you do really early on Dhonald's, if you play right).
  19. Please Edit your posts instead of posting twice.
  20. Thus you can still help the Shapers and keep Greta on to Dhonald's, because noone really wants you to kill Lankan.
  21. He wanders around the building just north of the West Gate. Just wait for him.
  22. Bless yourself and speed yourself. Hit him hard and run back. You should often hit enough for him to be stunned, and thus not come within rage with his attack.
  23. 1 - Loyalist Agent. 1 - Rebel Agent. Half-way to finish my Rebel Guardian. Half-way to finish my Loyalist Shaper.
