I have to repeat myself: Since noone that produces this game even reads what we have to say, what does it matter? Someone mentioned that the post is here to "root out" the bad suggestions from being emailed to Jeff, but Jeff most likely won't read any mal coming from us anyway.

There are no canisters in Testing Grounds. Testing Grounds is a loyalist testing place for skills and learning, why on earth would they dabble in rebel shaping canisters?

Geneforge 1. Never changed.
-
That's correct. You get Thad, Artilla and Heal.
-
Untrue. I had a leadership score of 14, and it still happened. Doubt they want you to get higher.
-
That is why having the option to learn Necromancy would be intresting.
-
In G2 Essence Shield did increase your maximum health. In G3 I think they just forgot to adjust the description of the spell. In G3 Essence Shield works like protection but better.

You need a leadership score of 10 (Get 8, then use Infiltrators cloak and Vest) to give him your blessing. Very helpful, since it gives +1 Endurance and +1 Intelligence.

Was it entitled something special or just "rope"?
-
More like an easter egg then.

Did the book actually do damage?
-
There is a hammer right next to the vat on a table. Pick it up and put it in your inventory, now (given that you have enough Mechanics) you can repair it.
-
Yeah, where do you get those blasted vembracers?
-
It's not right under your nose, it is actually far from it. You need to go to the Rebel camp and walk past the building where the rebel lives, then walk east (You will now be in forbidden territory, so don't let the guards see you twice). When you get a bit to the east, walk south and move behind the two supply-houses there. Close to the wall will be a barrel, move close to it and a bit to the east and you will find a ring on the ground (a message will pop up). Take the ring and show it to the same man that gave you the quest.

Thank you, Dolphin. However I fear that there are more dedicated players to the Geneforge series that know allot more than I do, so I am unsure how much I can bring to the party.
-
Sure is a more inventive insult than plain swears.
-
Anyone actually found a use for these in the game? Not the living but the oldschool things just named "tools". Is there a use? In any of the Geneforge games?
-
"Remote mountain region".

Started to replay instead. I could probably have made it by just shaping more BA but that would seem to me a bit pointless. I know that it is Torment, but if I don't find an easy way to do things I don't want to do it. Instead I try and try again untill I find the right combo.

I always like the idéa of a group-effort.

Agents gets essence the same way as Shapers, but in a less degree. Instead they get more Energy. Agents do not focus on Shaping either, and instead of making creations to fight for them they use magic and spells to fight for themselves. Thus Intelligence is important for an Agent, but the actually Essence for shaping creations is not. You will notice that when you buy up Intelligence your Energy will go up, which is good, because you need it to sling those bolts of magic of yours.
-
On normal it should not be that hard if you play your Agent or Shaper right. Guardian might be harder, but not if you focus on missile weapons.
-
I guess I could just ignore them. Just 100XP anyway. Of course, the other golems will be a pain. Geh.

Even if I bought up BM to the same level I got Mental Magic (6) I would still only have a total level of 8 (+2 for the spell level) I guess I could restart and go at it again, but I really wanted a Rotgroth..
