  1. High QA will allow the Guardian to go first. Guardian can pump out drayks to handle the shapers creation, then just rush up and kill the shaper with one strike. If the Shaper is not within range, hideing somewhere, the guardian can just let hsi creations take the biggest hit of the Shapers creations, and then finish them off with his high damage-deaing attacks. G2 Parry makes the guardian almost invincible, not to mention all those HP and armor %.
  2. OR have enough Leadership to get him to believe that you can help him, but in offer for his treasure.
  3. Not very hard to sneak into both palces. In Rebel camp you even get to be spotted by the guard once before she sounds an alarm. BTW: Allot of characters are noted as "she", but still got male human-guard graphics. That kinda blow, and should be changed.
  4. If you have come as far as Darkstone mine, you should have picked up some allready.
  5. Jeff don't read this forum. Send him an email.

Um, the angry man is a townsperson, not a Shaper; Meeting his needs is unnecessary. If it's a Shaper you spot breaking into your house. Duh.
  7. And with a Leadership of 7 or higher you can order the Shaper's second man in charge to give you the key.
  8. That's intresting. I would have thought that doing such would be near impossible..But.. It took me 26 tools to get into the basement under San Ru, and another 2 to open the door into the shaping chamber ..You could have saved those tools and just go to pick up the key in the Ambush Cave, if you played outside the demo.
  9. Quote: Originally written by Dolphin.: Some people prefer to have the book, as it gives you the ability to search for the needed information while staying in the game, so it depends what meets your needs. So Alt Tab don't work for you?
  10. You want a honest oppinion? You are doing it all wrong. By level 19, your BB should be at 12-12 and your SC should be at atleast 7. Don't buy up Leadership to 10, completly unnecesserary. All yo need is 8. Get two points from Infiltrator vest/cloak and carry them in your pack untill needed. You have no need for endurance whatsoever, if you are getting hit you are not playing it right. Both the Shade Pitand the second test are extremley hard areas, so no surrpise there that you are gettick kicked, even though you should have been able to handle the pit at level 17, had you the right ammount of BM, SC and blessed yourself in the right way. I assume you are playing on Normal?
  11. The guy in Fort Wilton that "Does not want to speak to you about anything but why you broke into his house", what is his deal? Did Jess suddenly get an urge to create something realistic, or is there a plot or quest in there somewhere? I know that if you open the door and wait for him to wander out, you can plunder his cabinet for some money and a good crystal.
  12. Killing them one by one (attack them without passing the rune) gives around 60 XP per kill. Totally worth it.
  13. I brought this up a long time ago, and SoT confirmed that it was a red harring.
  14. Several levels are allot harder, like Shaper Crypt. You will probably also run into troubles later when the level of creations skip a beat and you are still on the same level.
  15. Guardians, of course. Parry in G2 is a gamebreaker.
  16. You can use a tool? Wow. How much XP does that give? I just attack them one by one.
  17. Hmm. So now loyalists teach how to create Drayk? Damn.
  18. As some might know, I brought up this problem before. They can be a real pain to handle unless you got acid damage, and a good BM score with that (or Greta). However, I have found something that will work just as well. Terror. A terror wand have a decent enough chance (and if it does not, just save before you encoutner golem, then reload), and will scare them into submission for five turns or so, enough for you to blast them into bits. This saved my life when playing as a Guardian.
  19. If you break into the goveners mansion you will find all the info you need anyway.
  20. Khyrryk can teach you how to create a Drayk, if you are loyalist. Is it just me, or is it a bit hipocritic of the rebels to teach you how to shape Drakons and Drayks, the very same creatures they claim they want to free?
  21. Eh, I got the Blessing Magic, but not the energy (Level 21, 50 energy. Bleh) When I get my Essence Aegis and blessing from the Shaper ghost, maybe add Girlde of Geniouse to that, think I should have enough energy. Only need 3, that's intresting, but I need a somewhat strong drayk to replace the hole that will be Greta.
  22. Two questions about the character type: When I got the Guardian Claymore, I realized that I actually could not use it, since I always have a baton or wand in my hand. What should I do, sell it off? How did you guys solve this (If you have played Hunter Guardian) I have Greta aong, but is doing Loyalist. I hear she will leave me when I kill the creator on Dhonald's, which is a real shame because currently she is th eone packing the punch in my aprty (if I am not useing a Diciplin wand or crystals, and I usually don't. Save them up for big foes). How will I ever get by without her? I figured I could pump Fireshaping up to 5 and replace her with a Drayk as soon as possible, but how am I to get Cryodrayk without canisters? I can't, right? Seems like Gull is going to be hell on me.
  23. Another good post with idéas about how the game can be improved. Just one thing; Gazers are allready powerful as it is, no need to give them higher stats.
  24. I kill everything I come by. Need the XP to level up.
