The doorless room in New Cotra is opened by fulfilling quest parts. During your search for the cause of the plagues, you gain clues. After so many, you are allowed into that room, where you can discuss your intentions and have a weapon made to combat the enemy.

The SE corner is the same, revealed at a certain time.

Not sure about Erika's tower though.

They would have made for interesting mounts.

I've checked the Aran site, plus Pixel, Louvre, and Blazing, and saw nothing like this. I need/desire 2 goblin monster sets, one with a bow, and the other with a crossbow.

Not having read this thread, other than SoT's latest bit, and drawing on my experience as a hunter, but not as a bow hunter, I have to agree with him about the disadvantage of using arrows.

If you intend to go bow hunting, you either have to be stealthy enough to get extremely close to your target, or be a good tracker. Because, a well hit animal can go for 90-1000 yards after being shot in the lungs. They are not instant kills. Getting closer means trying for a heart shot, which is about the size of a softball, and the animal will still crash off 40 yards.

I didn't actually play it, but am I still qualified to rate it?

In order to gain status with the queen, you have to accept her offer to wrestle. But, when she is at about 25% health, she will claim to have had enough. Back off then, at the appropriate option, and then you can speak with her. This assumes that you came up from the dungeons, and not through the front gates.

Good luck, and hope that it works out for you. As noted, it is not game important to finish this sub-subquest.

What might be interesting is mods that increase the challenge of the game. Removal of a skill, or a spell. A change in a golem's resistance or the rewards or conditions for a quest. Make things available for nothing is not a valuable addition to the A5 gaming experience, imho.

Perhaps if you swapped out all spell-access rewards with meat only, or weapons only. Or made all the shops cost more. I've only played through once, so it hasn't worn out yet. But if it does, the first trick I will try is to go 100% ranged weapons. And, like was mentioned, buy BoA. It's only $15 when purchased with another Spiderweb game.
