I thought leaving him out of the list might might be enough separation, but in retrospect I shouldn't have specified midbies at all. It's not like we didn't have some relatively new members as mods before now. Tyran, Randomizer, and Dikiyoba all registered after I did. In any case, I'm looking forward to seeing what directions the new leadership takes the community in. With Triumph and Nikki in power, I suspect that the tolerance threshold for puns will shift noticeably.

From Randomizer's comment earlier, I'd say we're probably done. In any case, we're running out of active midbies. I certainly haven't been asked. I'll have to check in with Nioca, Dantius, Dinti, Ex, Iffy... okay, maybe there are a few options left. VCH 2012!

Pardon my double post, but I neglected to mention that, even if you're not interested in participating, I'd love feedback on the new system I'm working on. I have DMed a lot of games, but never endeavored to invent something like this from scratch before. I think some of the features are promising, but am quite sure there are reasons it's not usually done this way. So please, take a look. In other news, BJ Earles is making great strides in character creation, so it looks like we're a go. There's still time to participate, but I'm going to start scheduling with the members already participating.

I am not particularly opposed to consuming meat from obscure animals, but do tend to try to stick with local sources, which tends to limit my scope. In any case, I find that bizarre fruits provide a much more enticing array of flavors and textures than meat.

This is lovely, Sylae! I am somewhat surprised I didn't see something of the sort from Slarty, though perhaps I just missed it.

I know several people with emus, as well as a couple who go hiking with their llamas. It's legal to own most things in Colorado, provided you have a permit, but individual cities are more restrictive. Mine, for instance, forbids ungulates, although they pass through town frequently. I do not know if we have a specific emu regulation, though. I hope so. They're not as bad as cassowaries, but they're still frightening creatures.

Despite sticking mostly to General, Ido know of Jerekeen and am glad to see even more new blood on the forums. I still think General should have it's own non-global to offset Nikki, but Jerakeen definitely needed to be the full deal.
