What I mean is I can't seem to give Gob the junk which I have. I'm not interested in getting the blade for Kroener or any other Guardian, I didn't even know where the blade was until your post. I just want to be able to complete Gob's Errand Boy quest.

I've found all the stuff Gob wants, but I haven't got the Blade yet. I hoped I could give Gob the junk without helping Koerner, 'cause I'm a rebel.

I can't seem to complete this quest. Is it because I asked Gob about Koerner's sword?

The other walkthrus were OK, but Silverchat's are the most detailed ones.

My journal gets corrupted for no apparent reason and it empties. The saved game works fine when I load it, but the Journal is empty. I'm playing the demo on Windows XP.

Depends on my mood: If I'm killing everything with Character Editor on I play Metal and Rock. If I'm going along normally, doing quests, hurting only baddies & Empire I play Pop, Reggae, and other fun music. If I'm playing without humans (Sith & Nepharim) I play Weird Al, Reggae, Folk.

What about the weird totems and language; do you get to delve more into the languages and start having intelligent conversations? I always wanted to find out everything about GF1's island. And use the Geneforge at the start of the game, without being part of the Shaper Council.

Yes I did tell the Loyalist leader that I was going to kill him. This must be a bug, cause why would they have that in the game if all it did was get Rising angry at you?

What are the buildings with no doors in Bengaro, Aminro, and Storm Port? Are they to do with the Thieves Guild? Who else besides me is going to see Spongebob Squarepants, or buy the DVD? Why can't the Empire, Avernites, and Vahnatai just get along? How fun is it to go around destroying towns like Shayder? Wouldn't it be fun to work for the Empire exterminating Avernum, or work for Erika destroying her Empire enemies and finding a cure for her sun phobia? Were to start? How about the conspiracy, the escape, the power, the enemies, the creations, the multiple endings. Well it's an even better idea to buy Geneforge & Geneforge 2. & Geneforge 3, whenever that comes out, I'm buying it. Geneforge & Avernum 3 are the reasons I bought the Avernum trilogy & Genforge 1&2. BTW I'm from New Zealand, so how further can you get from being employed by SS.

Has anyone tried to overthrow Mayor Knight, or help someone rebel against the Mayor? Is it something that can be done? I'm asking because at least two people in Avernum mention that their leader is wonderful, but text says that they aren't allowed to express differing views. If it isn't possible, then it's another thing I'd like to see in Avernum 4 or Blades of Avernum.
