I liked Frostbite and Canopy very much too, I'm replaying Exodus now, it's good but extremely difficult. Any chance you've played Of Good and Evil? If you've enjoyed Bahss and Canopy, I think you'll find lots to enjoy if you haven't played it yet. Anyway, feel free to rate the scenarios on CSR.

I totally forgot about Agents of SHIELD - I've watched a few episodes of the first season, but haven't found it extraordinarily interesting.

I know a similar thread was done a while ago, but to avoid bumping dead topics, I'm curious which shows people have seen. Netflix has given me a lot of access lately. Anyway, I've seen: Star Trek: The Next Generation Star Trek: Voyager Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Pretty Little Liars The Lying Game Switched at Birth The Fosters Kyle XY Twisted Once Upon a Time Continuum Caprica Star Wars: The Clone Wars Gravity Falls The X-Files Buffy the Vampire Slayer (just season 1 and part of season 2) Futurama Some various kids shows I might start Heroes soon. If you're curious what I thought of any of the shows I've seen, just ask. Anyway, what shows have you seen, and what did you think of them (if you want)?

Restless Souls was a good start, but there were some areas the could have been improved. The conflict was interesting if underdeveloped. There were a few grammatical errors here and there, and I had mixed feelings about the outdoors - it looked nice, but it was very hard to navigate. There were some good tactical challenges, but a lot of combat seemed too easy. Finally, I wish that there was a portal that went straight to the town after meeting the woman, it seemed annoying to have to solve the puzzles twice just to deliver a message. Other than that, it was fine. A promising start. [rating]Average[/rating]

Well, there's certainly many BoE and BoA scenarios that continue the Avernum storyline (such as Bahssikava, Exodus, or Nephil's Gambit), but you probably already know that. I even made one such scenario for BoE myself years ago, but it was complete nonsense.

I know I could just as easily write a review, but thought I'd open it up for discussion... I just finished replaying "Redemption", the follow-up after Of Good and Evil. Now, Of Good and Evil is probably my favorite BoE scenario and storyline (hence my porting to BoA), so yeah. "Redemption" is a huge favorite, it seems, of the Blades community, so here are my thoughts - on CSR, it nears the top, and under the old ratings system, averaged 9.4/10. My view: The scenario was good, but I guess I'm not seeing the huge masterpiece others do. But let's start with the positives: + The portal was a very creative idea. + The story was fantastic - it was very interesting and the story alone was enough for one to keep playing to find out what is happening. The scenario is set up as a mystery - one has to discover pieces of the plot for themselves. + Nifty solutions for alchemy. + The dream sequence was very scary, especially if you play the scenario at night. The thing that I think bothered me the most was the combat seemed incredibly unbalanced. For example, in the Konax Caverns, you're fighting Troglodytes and Hill Giants which are easily defeated with firestorm and mass charm spells - then you have Boemen and Stridors which are hard even for a level 30 party (which I played with) - in comparison, Of Good and Evil seemed to be around the right levels for the party it was intended for. I won't even get started on wolves set to never flee which are easily defeated (I assume they are just there for atmosphere, but it does detract from the actual gameplay). Second, the farms to me seemed uninteresting, and it seemed hard to get too attached to the characters who eventually die/get consumed. As a sidenote, while the scroll writing was an interesting touch, did there really need to be a whole industrial process to create one scroll? Wouldn't it just be easier to assume scrolls are written by hand? Maybe McNeimer thought an automated system was easier, but it seems inefficent to need a whole town just to write scrolls. In conclusion, great story, but gameplay brings it down. Your thoughts? Do you see a masterpiece or do you find the scenario a little overrated?

It would seem like a risky move for two imperials to throw mud at each other, especially if all the Avernites vote for the same person. Obviously, sounding like best buds would be a giveaway too, but I'd wonder about a strategy where they cast so much doubt on each other

I hadn't thought of Excalibur as the Skribbane Addict, but his story seems suspicious enough that it could well be. It seems Excalibur/Triumph/Sarachim is the biggest rivalry, leading me to believe one of them is working for the Empire, but Triumph seems more suspicious right now.

It did, I thought an Apprentice Mage would be a better example (active ability). Also, couldn't the Geas Toucher supposedly reveal switches?

Okay, I've been trying to port some BoE scenarios, and I keep getting error messages when I try to open them in the editor after porting. I've tried downloading the original editor, but my computer doesn't support it. Can anyone help?

Okay, so I'm making a new scenario (for some reason) - I was wondering if anyone could point me to or create palm trees and a "ship" graphic. Thanks.
