oh nevermind i found out how to get it back, thanks anyway. if you have the same problem i had go to http://www.avernum.com/avernum3/techsupp.html and scroll down to the bottom and read (although this will be hard) the paragraph under the heading Reactivating the Character Editor for Macintosh and Windows.

well i kinda exited edit mode but also shut it down so it said ti reactivate go to www.avernum.com and it'll show u how to reactivate edit mode, but i can't find out how so anyone know how to please?
