Rotghroth Rhapsody

Rotghroth Rhapsody (10/17)

  1. Ok, I just found out the problem. I have a stereo system and a 5.1 headphones. Although I'm using the speakers, the sounds appear on my headphones. I think I have to set my computer sounds to stereo, so that all sounds channels go to my speakers. Sorry for the trouble.

I've played other Spidweb games and I know there's ambient sounds, menu sounds, combat sounds... But this game get's completely mute when you start/load the game. The sound settings are fine: Volume normal, background on.
  3. I'm playing the steam edition and I have Vista 64bit. When I launch the game, I can hear the music. After creating the party, I've noticed that the music's volume was turned down while reading the prologue/intro. And then, when the game starts, no sound. No music. Nothing. If I return to the main menu, the sound returns but with a low volume. Trying to load my game or starting another one... No sound again. What could be the problem and how can I fix it?

If you don't like the map design, it's because you don't like the map design, not because of anything to do with the iPad. I disagree. The iPad version wasn't an afterthought and the map design shows it (like indoors being mega huge, everything more spaced out, probably because it was necessary to use touch instead of a more little and accurate mouse cursor). Or it's all a coincidence.

  6. So far, I think it's Vogel's weakest game. Clearly "dumbed down" for the masses. But I guess I should have seen that coming the first minute I heard there would be an iPad port.
  7. I think you should remove that link, or are we supposed to have access to the hintbooks?
  8. I'm waiting for the Windows version, but I would like to underline the importance of the size of the text font in the game. It was a real deal breaker for me, with the last Geneforge. It was just really uncomfortable to play the game in my 22" monitor (I guess it's the standard size, nowadays). I hope Avadon will not have the same problem.
  9. Nice way start my early morning... I'll try this this evening after work.
