  1. Jenneke is neither Roman nor Celtic. His/Her gender is also still a matter of much speculation. —Alorael, who did meet a woman with a nearly identical name. Perhaps he/she really is she after all...
  2. There is also one female druid who joins the Romans in Vanarium. —Alorael, who is unwilling to accept gender stereotypes. Just because the Romans all look male doesn't mean they are male. You can't judge just by a beard!
  3. The cheapest and easiest way is probably to order online. Go to the Spiderweb homepage, click on the sidebar entitled "Ordering," and click on the link under the first option. —Alorael, who would like to take this opportunity to deliver a warning against attempted software piracy. Do not ask for free registration from others, and do not give it to others.
  4. As I understand it, Sullust hasn't altered any graphics. However, any occurences of white instead show whatever is behind the graphic. I think he means that characters, monsters, and items show the terrain behind them, but I could be wrong. —Alorael, who can't think of any better solution than adding very light gray to any white areas either. It's a very strange bug.
  5. UBB seems to be plagued by errors, especially when there are a lot of people browsing the boards. Unless the error comes back some more, or something serious results from it, it's probably best to ignore it. —Alorael, who would be happy to see something other than yet another 500 Error.
  6. This is the only method for figuring out the SDF's, but it's also very difficult. There are literally thousands of different flags, each of which can be set to anywhere from 0 to 255. Then there's the possibility that several flags could affect a single event. —Alorael, who believes that the Change SDF option of the editor was put in for alpha-testing purposes only. Unless you have all the A3 code, it's probably not going to help you.
  7. As far as I know, it's impossible to get rid of the abilities once you've given a character the trait that gives them. However, once the trait is removed, all other powers and penalties go away as well. Just don't use the abilities if you're not supposed to have them. —Alorael, who professes to have used this trick several times to get skills he didn't earn. A3's Inner Strength is particularly useful.
  8. Nobody has put together a list of special flags, unfortunately. You'll either have to reload from that old backup or go on anyway. It's still possible to win the game without completing the Troglo/Giant quest, and you may be able to finish it even after killing King Vothkaro. —Alorael, who wonders if perhaps someone should email Jeff a request for the list of special flags. Surely he has one, and if he includes something like that in the editor, it would be nice to be able to use it.
  9. Save files tend to become corrupted over the internet. You'll have to make the party for yourself with the editor. —Alorael, who has no explanation of the confusion between BoE and E2. It's just yet another unfixed mistake in Blades.
  10. If you're using a Mac, make sure all the scenarios are in the folder "Blades of Exile Scenarios" and that that folder is in the same folder as Blades of Exile itself. The setup is probably similar for a PC. Also, you can only have 20 scenarios in the scenario folder at once, or some of them will not show up in the custom scenario list of BoE. —Alorael, who cannot think of any reason the built-in scenarios wouldn't run, unless the folder was renamed.
  11. I believe the Magic Potato was once Lester the [Mostly] Sane, with brackets and not parentheses. I'd check with a name change myself, but I'm too lazy. —Alorael, who wouldn't mind being an HTML tag himself. It's stylish!
  12. I have had my hard drive erased multiple times, and Spiderweb has never had any trouble giving me a new password when I gave them a little bit of information (name, new serial number, etc). You can do it over the phone in two minutes. —Alorael, who couldn't even find the old registration codes to prove that he had ordered before.
  13. This is a scheme for making posts requesting tech support easier to understand and deal with. Unfortunately, most people who drop by (including me) just write everything down and hope for the best. —Alorael, who doesn't really see why it's necessary. Most issues are resolved fairly easily even without the problem being laid out so clearly.
  14. Spiderweb is known for its errors, especially at times when many people are browsing the boards. There doesn't seem to be anything that we can do about it. —Alorael, who is still waiting without much hope for the perfect version of UBB. It should be out in another hundred thousand years or so.
