I'm trying to figure out how best to make my newly shaped drayk into a killing machine, but I'm not sure what the relationship is between the drayk's fireball (or any ranged creature's attack), strength, and dexterity. Does strength improve all attacks of a creature, or just melee ones? Does dexterity improve damage of ranged attacks as well as making them more likely to hit? Thanks for your help!

Dang, I'm having this same problem in Geneforge 4. Sucks that there isn't any way to hijack the function keys and leave things like alt-tab alone.
