For a game this old, yeah it's quiet. I would give it at least a week or two. There are people here that can help with these issues, but most of us have moved on.

448. Depletion Counting Recovering as slowly as a timberline ridge Timber is a resource that can be depleted and recovers very slowly, so you can count the depletion as the timberline recovers. -

431. Indrawn Eidolon Living, and ceasing to live Wikipedia translates eidolon as kinda like a ghost. A ghost is the essence of a person out of the body. So an indrawn eidolon would be living until it was drawn out when it would be ceasing to live. -

Whirlwind deliver them! An African goddess speaks with Elizabethan prosody Somehow this reminds me of Storm from the X-Men. She was worshipped as an African goddess and this sounds like a quote she would say. -
Doesn't somebody in Patrick's tower talk about it? Or an I missremembering it?

I don't know what your schedule is, but in preparation for the last book I started from book one and re-read the series. I will admit that it is not a quick read. But doing it over a few weeks lets you appreciate and understand all the storylines as they lead to the conclusion. -

ĐªгŦĦ Єяŋϊε replied to cyrodilicbrandy's topic in Second Avernum Trilogy
Based on what you wrote, there should be two hellhounds. The other one should spawn when you wander around a local area with lots of plants. Key words here are the "prime picking patch" Look around for an area with collectable herbs. -
I believe that it had been proven that luck doesn't affect item drops Item drops depend on your personal out-of-game luck.

It states in a number of places that they need to be fed to stay alive. -

I ended up with over a hundred extra living tools in g1, so the infinite living tool isn't really necessary. -

Only if you don't leave the zone before unlocking the door all the way. If you unlock half the living tools required and go collect more from storage, it resets to the original number needed. -

Technically the term excess implies a problematical increase. Drink to excess means getting trashed by whatever relative amount it takes an individual to drink that much.

Excess happiness can be a problem. That's how I keep on getting kicked out of funerals.

I once had this Jewish ethnic food called ptcha. It's the jellied foot of a calf boiled up and chilled in a pan. It is cut into squares that are about two inches high that sit there quivering on your plate waiting for you to eat it. I don't know its actual origins but I assume it's Hungarian or Polish.
