Just finished Week 4 Day Three! Are my arms supposed to feel like they're falling off? The max was 40 but I went ahead and did 45. Post #669

I voted for Exile:Escape From the Pit, Exile II:Crystal Souls and Avernum 6. I voted for the first two Exile's because they are the bread and butter of the company. I voted for A6 because it marks the end of the storyline created nearly 2 decades ago. I still like the original Exile...and it seems I'm the only one because so far I'm the only one who's voted for it! Post #668

I did only 33 push-ups. When I was in Naval bootcamp I was one of only 4 people in my division of 73 to do more than 100 push-ups in 2 min by doing 106 and I was beaten by two others. I haven't pushed myself to do that since. I've been out of the Navy for over 6 years and have barely done any push-ups since I got out. Post #667

Other Avernum Games?
Arch-Mage Solberg replied to Chowster's topic in Avernum Trilogy (2011-2018 Remastered Versions)
They are great games to play even with an outdated engine. I liked them then and still play them from time to time. Post #66...oh crap! -

When I was refering to why the north-eastern and south-eastern areas were blocked I was talking in reference to how it was in Exile and Avernum. I've already bought the game (money came sooner than I was expecting) and a hint book to go with it. I've noticed some major renovations to the storyline so to speak. Most notably Thantria and Freehold. Other changes are as follows: 1. Areas under the cities and some forts. 2. Formello Mayor's necklace is no longer unique. 3. Various other minor quests. 4. Micah said that he was King for 30 years but a book in Patrick's Tower says that he's been King for 40! I'm sure that there's more, but I've only just entered the Great Cave last night and haven't yet played today. This doesn't strike me as a remake per say. It has been retooled to the point of becoming a separate game completly. Obviously that's not the case because the NPC's and plot remains there. One thing's for sure is that Encyclopedia Ermariana is gonna be flooded with rewrites and additions! Post #659

I really really miss Exile III's spell library and system

Sorry about the slow response. I'll only be online maybe once or twice a week since I don't have internet at my house. Now to respond to a few posts. I know that A4 gets a lot of flak from a lot of people but I actually liked it. Sure it did have flaws but it was worth it. Brand new storyline with improved interface. The biggest flaw of all that I really hated was obviously the distance between towns. You went from towns being many miles away to being right next to each other. Post #654

Cannot start 'aid solberg' quest
Arch-Mage Solberg replied to superiority's topic in Second Avernum Trilogy
Take a hint man! I don't want to leave right now. Give me a day or two to relax and then we'll head out. Post #648 *Words of Solberg are not to be taken literally in terms of the game. -
The greatest compliment and the worst insult you've ever received
Arch-Mage Solberg replied to Frozen Feet's topic in General
Compliment-"Your not as dumb as I thought you were." Several times by people when they hear my southern drawl and believe that I'm just some hick only to realize I know more than they do. Insult- "Buck-toothed beaver." I have bucked teeth...enough said. So what if my teeth aren't perfect, this is the way God made me and if you have a problem with that then that is your problem not mine. Post #647
