  1. I remember in the 90's when each game was $45 and hintbooks were $12. Post #721
  2. Sounds great! Can't wait to play them. Post #720
  3. How is everyone doing around here? Me, I've been working a lot and haven't been on these forums for over a year. I was just checking in to see Avernum 3:Ruined World was coming out. Looks like we still have time to prepare for its release. I did see something about a brand new game with a new engine. I wonder what that will be like? Post #718
  4. AAY-ver-num. That's just how I've always said it. Like Erika's name... I pronounced it Air-REE-kah to give it a more mystical feel. My own name also has weird pronunciation. It's pronounced Soul-beorg. Post #717
  5. I guess that kinda makes me a 'Bob' too, in a way.
  6. Look up Alan Wake on Steam. Nice little game. Not at all easy, but very fun. Good graphics and decent storyline.
  7. Good to see yall again. Resting from working all week. Gotta mow my yard tomorrow and burn a brush pile. Only have one day off. Gotta make the most of it. Post #714
  8. How about buying the rights to Homeland: The Stone of Night and remaking that? Not only remaking, but adding more to it as well! Post # 713
  9. Been buying Doctor Who DVD's online. I have the entire NuWho except for the second half of season 9 and a few specials. I also have 6 Classic serials. Will be getting more of those over the next few months. Post # 712
  10. I've got a few recipes around here somewhere. Including my famous Mushroom Casserole and Cavewood Stew. Post #711
  11. When will Avernum 2: Crystal Souls be released for Google Play users? I've got Avernum: Escape from the Pit on my tablet. Really would like to have A2, too. Post# 710
  12. I've only played Geneforge 1. I found it rather enjoyable, but chose to spend my money on the Avernum games. Post #709
  13. I played it years ago and thought it was pretty cool. Someone should update it.
  14. Found it on Google Play for $9.99. Played it for 7 hours. Already beat all of the Eastern Gallery, Formello/Fort Draco area and the Undead Spiral. I like how it works. Item menu is a bit hectic but OK nonetheless.
  15. I'm on a Doctor Who marathon this weekend. Love that show.
  16. I picked the original Exile Trilogy. It is what got me started with Spiderweb games back in 1997. I've enjoyed playing nearly every game Jeff has made since. I say nearly because I haven't played them all.
  17. If memory serves me correctly, I believe the other place is near Gale. Also the giants and troglodytes weren't attacking you, per se... they were attacking each other and you just happened to be in the middle.
  18. I like the fact that Jeff is still doing the remakes. Considering Exile came out in 1995 and Avernum in 2001, it was over a decade that A:EftP came on the scene. I have bought all the Exiles, Avernums and A:EftP, and I will buy A2:CS when it finally shows up! If you're a fan of Spiderweb, show your support by buying his games. It gives him the revenue to continue making such great games!
  19. I agree. The placement of towns in A4 made it seem like an incredibly small area. I love the outdoors/indoors thing! Post #700 ????
  20. I just can't wait to play the games. ???? http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/34/USS_Jacksonville_SSN-699_Crest.png
  21. I've tried calling the business line for the last 3 days and have only gotten the answering machine. Does anyone know if they are alright?
