I've run up and down the forum and haven't see anything projected so I've just gotta ask... What sort of time estimate is there on getting Geneforge 5 for Windows out and purchasable?

I'm not that fond of having 5 be the end of the series but since I can't really DO anything about it, I'd like some idea of when the last gem will be available.

Anybody got a guess?

I'm replaying Geneforge 1 and 2 (and will move on through 3 and 4)while spinning my wheels and waiting for the fifth and final game to be released for Windows. But... I have an ongoing problem.

Has anybody ever figured out a way to maneuver all these factions into getting along? How about any two of them? I keep thinking that there must be some way, some key response or combination of decisions, that would work out a way for everybody to get what they need...

Is it a forgone conclusion that there must be a single way? Am I doomed before I even start?

I am curious about new coming things - but NOT at the expense of Geneforge! Truth be told, I'd like to have both. But... gees, I don't want this series to end.

Fantastic news about Geneforge 5! Many, many thaks. NOT fantastic news about it being labeled the final game of the series.

How do we change that?????

I just got an email announcing the coming release of Genefoge 5 ( YEY, yes yes yes ) - but the message says it's the FINAL game of the series.

Final game? How can Geneforge have a final game? Nooooooooooooooooo!

How do we stop this disaster from curtailing the series? Will a simple bribe to Spiderweb do it, or should we start looking for a suitable sacrifice? Quick - this is So not good!

I would like to see Jeff (or whemever is in charge of this series)to devise a VERY devious way the player could get all the factions to make at least a rag-tag peace and play nice. Not an easy route - more like an entire puzzle within the story and heavy on the diplomacy. I don't particularly think it belongs in Geneforge 4, and I certainly don't advocate it as the main goal of the game unless a player delibertely sets out to do just that.

Or... has it been in all the games all along and I've been just to dense to see it?

This may be rushing it, but it IS at the end of 2004... and the posted approximate date is early 2005... Will we be getting a shot at Geneforge 3 pretty quick?

I'd save stocking space for that... clear up to Easter!
