Like a mix between the Elder Scrolls games and the early 1800's, I guess, with a little steampunk mixed in.

Not sure how it would work out on AIMhack (probably need a couple tweaks to the mechanics, off the top of my head), but I think it would be an interesting thing to try. Thoughts?

Sounds like you suggesting Fallout, only from a slightly earlier time period.

Everyone who wasn't there missed it! It was a harrowing battle, full of amazing feats and near death moments!

I got bit by a furball.....that is all.
  3. Mal's Misty Escape was gained after defeating that Vampire thing in Rikkla's stronghold, both Mal and Josun rolled to see who got it, not knowing at the time that we rolling for that.

With the Rumors campaign, since we started at level 5, we all got to make our own perk starting out, which was kind of nice. It allowed us design something that went with our characters.

If you're going to reward player A's selfless defense of his fellow players with a perk, discussing it in game would break the flow, but waiting to discuss it after seems to take away from the atmosphere. In that case, it doesn't feel as rewardy to me.

  4. Speaking of Asimov, I'm reading a collection of his short stories right now.

Course, that could of gone into the What are you reading thread, but this topic is about topic drift, here's for derailing it into a clone topic!

  5. Eh, I live in Indianapolis(points to location listing for himself) which is basically suburbia personified. I still manage to get out to the middle of nowhere on occasion, it's always been worth it, no matter the reason.

  6. That's to bad, you should definitely get out of the city and get somewhere where you can enjoy looking at the heavens! There's nothing like seeing the Milky Way in all it's splendor for the first time. It's even awesome the 23rd time you see it.

There are currently 4 books in the series. The last book was A Feast for Crows, which came out in 05 I think. The next one has a date of late 2012, which, according to a person at a local book store, basically means the publisher is not sure when it'll be out. Mr. Martin sure takes his time on his books.

People say this alot when an Author dies and someone else picks it up. Personally, I've enjoyed the two books that Sanderson has done so far in the series. While I've noticed a couple of very small things, nothing has jumped out and slapped me in the face to let me know that Jordan didn't write them.

No apologies necessary, someone had to be left out. I plan on saving my character though, he's going to be fun to play!
  9. I'm not interested in watching the Superbowl this year either, and honestly don't really care which team wins.

On the subject of the ads, I enjoy them, however, I won't sit through football I've not really interested in just to see them, I'll watch them on the webernet later this week. Also, is it just me, or have the quality of the ads gone down the past few years?

  10. 1. e. The F.B.A.Q. Those little guys are just so darn cute!

    2. b. Use a little known precedent from ancient roman law concerning the keeping of goats. Goats always win! Don't believe me, try beating one, just try.

    3. b. Spend your life savings on a pair of furry green earmuffs that won't protect your hearing but look awesome. Everyone will be envious of my ear wear!

    4. c. The Duke of Windsor. Duh!

    5. c. Throw aside your vows and join the glorious rebellion. Viva la révolution!

    6. a. No, honor and sugar are more valuable than lives.

    7. e. Medicated, by law.

    8. Who says I can't?

    9. Wait, what's that about the number...*starts foaming at the mouth and drops to the floor*

    10. Torch their torching with my torch set on high, that'll torch 'em! That or preemptively set fire to the factory.

Bonus. I'll do this one next week, so you should have gotten it 2 days ago.
