We use fans a lot, along with our AC, allowing us to keep the AC on the low side. As for school, I only remember getting it off because of heat a few time, I may be wrong, but I think it has to get over 100 here in Indy, and the only AC in school I had was the computer room and principal's office, and two buildings in High School, one cause it contained the Deans, Councilors and admissions offices(basically all the administration), and the other was the Library, other than that, there were the occasional odd rooms with AC in the other buildings, for various reasons.

I had no real thought that you meant anything other than Hobbes, I was just using it as a segue to bring up the books I had read.

My God Father/babysitter, when I was younger, was a hunter, so I've seen animals butchered for food, it never struck mr as that big a deal. I'd imagine that the amount of people who would turn away from eating meat if they had to butcher it themselves would be much fewer than most would imagine, especially if it was a necessity. The younger generations even more so.

I was kind of surprised to find this not on here all ready, though I haven't any clue if there are mothers currently on these boards(I knew of one, but I haven't seen her on here for a while), but even if there isn't; Happy Mothers Day to any and all mothers here or elsewhere.

You can play the Avernum games with only one character as well, it'll be more difficult, but if you check the forums, you'll find topics and guides on solo attempts.

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that the federal money given to Planned Parenthood goes to programs to help educate people to try and prevent unwanted pregnancy and STDs, as well as prenatal care for those who can't afford health insurance.

I'd be hard pressed to do Thursday, Friday I could only do up to 10:30 EST.
