Barzano

I am on gull island and following the rebel storyline. However I am stuck as I am hoping to upgrade Gretas attack before killing khyryk. As the bug causes this to be impossible I was wondering if it is possible to alter my save file in order to give her the improved attack anyway. I don't really want to wait around for an update especially as it is the weekend now and I have time for playing.
