I toyed with the idea of using the editor a little bit. I never even figured out how to make walls. 'Nuff said.

I either choose Fast on Feet and Natural Mage, or Fast on Feet and Strong Will. Spells become less and less important the later the game is (A1 A2 and A3), so for A3 definitely choose Strong Will. Fighting also becomes progressively more useful.

Hmm. How does it work? I don't understand the motivation behind topic rezzing and perhaps I never will.

It helps you in some special encounters and I think it might affect some resistances.

When is pyg coming out? I've heard alot about it as if it has been finished, but I see no place to get (download) it.

If you want a challenge, then go for a singleton. Are you replaying the game, or do just want an unusual party to play it for the first time? 'Cause if you are replaying it, singleton is definitely a fun challenge. I'll warn you, though, some things are very hard, like getting enough nature or arcane lore to identify items and open the caches.

I think the best way to go is to get a spectre and maybe a dervish or something else with a lot of health. Spectres do the most damage of anything that I can think of.

The room is in fort emergence and whenver I walk into it the game quits without any sort of message.

I think it's fair to say that killing Sulfras is really, really hard. The Black Shades and Guardians are too much for me. But I always play a singleton. Has anyone killed him?

What is the point of having a level cap other than to discourage playing a singleton?

I was thinking of playing A2 with a singleton, but I was very dissapointed playing A1 with a singleton because you can't get past lvl 40. Is it the same way in A2? EDIT: Also the link to the avernum annotated maps don't seem to be working.

I only use it when I am playing a singleton. BTW I am replaying Avernum (as a singleton) and I can't get remember how to get past the final gauntlet. I've turned all the wheels I can find but can't get past those stalactites. Also I have searched extensively for a secret passage.

You can become addicted to it if you have enough.

Yeah, I put DrawsprocketLib in the System Folder and now it is working fine. Now if I just figure out how to free Grah Hoth...

That is exactly what I did last time. The saved games stopped working so I just started a new game and downloaded a new game. I am less willing to start over for the second time. Anyways, I found DrawSprocketlib in the trash. ( No idea how it got there) Where is the place that it goes again?
