OK, first thing: try holding shift+D and a bar will pop up. Type "rechargeme" and your essense should go up depending on how many creations you have. If you have none, it should be at max.

 

If that dosen't work, then you have a problem with your game. You might have to re-download the game, because that's the only thing I can think that would fix your problem.

What do you think will be new features in A4?

Does it just not do anything? Like the loading bar is going up slowly but nothing is happening?

Yeah, the Editor gives everything that you need, regestered or NOT. There's a snazzy item list so you can get ANY item in the game, or OUT of the game.

I think you can fly in, but there's nothing of intrest in there.

I serverly dislike the GIFTS.

 

1: They are spiders. I hate spiders.

 

2: They think that I'm "cute". No one has said that to me yet, so they are obviously lying.

 

3: They talk. That makes me angry.

When I launch Avernum III, as soon as I click OK on the box for "tip of the day" it says that there is an error and it crashes. HOW CAN I FIX THIS?

Yeah, just make something like a quest at the beginning for some item that has a +20 against Undead or something.

I personally like sliths better just because they are green. And scaly. And they eat fish.

I "finished" the game. But now how one would think so:

 

-Killed everything in every town that wouldn't "insa-kill" me as soon as I attacked someone.

 

-Bought over 10,000 Skribbane and stored it in various towns.

 

-Actually helped the Empire by destroying all Upper Exile towns and killing the two members of the Thieves Guild in Lorelei and the whole lot of 'em in the secret valley place where you get into Blackcrag.

I've noticed that the weird lightbulb thing has had problems every since I have been here.

What's this about curing your addiction? That takes away all the fun!

Okay, basic party:

 

1- Lasco (human fighter, some skill with Throwing Weapons)

2- Daggoth (slith fighter, some priest skill)

3- Mathuzar (nephil archer, bashing weapons, traps, lockpicking)

4- Solberg II (human mage, some archery skill)

5- Jango (human mage/priest, lots of Item Lore)

6- Michael (human priest, alchemy skills)

Sadly, online Geneforge, or any other Spiderweb game, will most likely never happen.

I thought it was Erika because when I went to her tower she started freaking out.

This is where we call in SpidWeb's best friend, the Editor.

 

Go to the main screen and click on the Editor button. Once it's open, click Leave Town. Or whatever it is. I'm a little rusty on A1 knowlege.

You need to go to Shadyer and go to the man in the bar. I think his name is Geoffory. He is the blue townsperson graphic. You ask him about "shipping". He'll tell you to go get a package south of the bar. You go down, open a door, and look in a chest. You have the Skribbane. *Alorael cheers in backround*

 

Then you head up towards Lorelei. You can either fight the guards surrounding them (which I did) or find some other way into the city. There is someone that says you can ford a river in, but I never found it. Oh well.

 

So after you get into Lorelei, you go to the shop titled "Kendra's Gloves". You ask her about "package" and she'll take the Skribbane from you *Alorael boos in backround* and give you some gold and let you into the secret room containing the head of the Theives Guild. You cannot join though, but he will give you a number of services, one making beating the game a whole lot easier.

 

Whew, I think I covered just about everything on that topic. My hand hurts now....

He has a point. Some people would rather get all of that through bugs than by using the editor, which most people feel as cheating.

 

EDIT: I'd give it to you, if I knew where Alorael hid it.

A bit of advice for you,

 

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT use any Light spells at all. Use torches and lamps and candles, but do NOT waste your spell points on spells that last about 5 moves in this dungeon.

I like Thalds because they are big and funny looking.
