I really liked the beginning of A2. The raid on the fort by the Nephilim was great. As I've said before A4 seemed a bit rushed.

Yes. I've always thought that quests you can no longer complete should be deleted. Perhaps when you kill the mayor a message could explain that you can not help Gnass.

I never use custom. Usually A Nephilim shaman, Slith soldier, human berzerker, and a human sorcerer. True Spirit and natural mage are excellent traits for a priest and mage.

You should be forced to do that quest first, as Dorkias seems essential to future Avernum games.

Well I guess it would depend on your level. But yeah for my group it was tough. I think only one party member, my Nephilim priest, survived the fight, barely.

The spiral Crypt was the only place in the game I nearly got trapped. Where all the undead are just motionless leading into the final area, well I didn't kill any of them. Then I hit the last ruins and bam, every damn one attacks me. That was the hardest fight for my group.

Yeah I couldn't shut the panels down either.

Yes generally I found dialogue triggers to not always function. At times I would completely kill everything in a certain room, then on my way out the initial description of the room would trigger.

I did the same thing with the Grobb quest.

An explosion of intense cold would be cool. The whole area could be frozen for sevral rounds.

I found it odd that most Vahnatai drop nothing. They seem to fight with weapons. But when they die nothing, just a spot of blood. Very strange.

The abyss does not exist. Rentar-dumbo destroyed it just prior to your group arriving. But then she didn't need do to that much. It's an abyss.
