Which game? What O/S are you using. The problem could be a corrupted download or even a direct X issue. Without more info from you it is hard to help.

I would do the following:

1) Download the file again, making sure you have the windows version.

2) After you burn in to cd, just take it to your pc like you did. I use the same method as you because my game pc is not on the internet.

3) If it still won't work, copy the file from the cd and paste it to a temp folder on your c drive. Then try again. I've had to do that with other files before.

More than likely you just got a corrupted file in the download. It happens. Oh, it is NOT a DOS game, so don't worry about that end.

I ordered once about 11AM EST and had the key about 4 hours later. I was playing later that night. I know the feeling though, as I could hardly wait to get the email myself.

This sounds more like a problem with your ISP. These boards have been fine all day as far as I can tell. What ISP are you using? Are you and your brother online at the same time trying to get into the boards? Are you on dial-up or what?
